Congratulations on finding that special someone to share your life with!
I love to meet new people, hear their stories and learn about what is important to them. Every couple has their own story to tell and the ceremonies I create with couples are as individual as they are.
I’ve been so privileged to meet many wonderful people from different cultures and backgrounds, and share significant moments in their lives.
I love living in Manchester, and being part of its beating ‘northern heart and soul’. A celebrant led wedding can be held anywhere, and there are so many fabulous locations from the gritty urban to beautiful countryside that are available to you. I have great working relationships with many interesting and unique venues.

What's my ceremony style?
My ceremonies have been described as romantic, elegant, fun, modern and memorable.
I will deliver the ceremony you want, the focus of the ceremony will be you and your relationship, it’s your wedding, your way. A celebration of your love and commitment to each other.
I am a creative person, with degrees in photography and visual culture. I have an eye for detail and understand the importance of the presentation of your special day, visually and in words.
Celebrant led weddings can be held anywhere, we can include themes or rituals like handfasting. There are no rules and no limits to what we can create together!

I am professional and will work hard to create the best ceremony possible, one that truly reflects you and your partner. I will take the time to get to know you and give you as much support and advice as you need.
My ceremonies are welcoming, inclusive and fun! They are also designed to be meaningful to everyone present, whatever their beliefs.

If you would like to book me a deposit secures me for the day.
I will be here, every step of the way to help you with your ceremony planning and to create the ceremony that you want, that reflects you as a couple. We will work on the script together until it is just right.
I’ve been trained by Humanists UK, of course this doesn’t mean that you must be a Humanist to book me. But it does mean I’ve had fantastic training, I’m peer reviewed, receive regular updates and have the support of the organisation.
I get great feedback from couples, their families and guests. I will work really hard to make your special day a perfect day.

Personalised touch
Karen is the best celebrant we could have ever asked for. She took us through the process meticulously and involved us every step of the way. We loved the very personalised touch.
