Hi, I'm Peter
A patchwork of a career in teaching, writing, event management and hosting, and as an actor has given me a unique mix of skills ideal to craft your perfect ceremony.
As part of my service to you, I write and deliver your ceremony fashioned and honed by the time and effort I’ll take to really get to know you, your needs and your hopes for the ceremony.
You’re trusting me with one the most important moments of your life and I will do anything I can to make sure it lives up to your expectations.
What's my ceremony style?
My personal style during the planning of your ceremony is warm, easy-going and conscientious: getting to know you properly to be able to co-design your ceremony is a privilege.
My style for your ceremony is whatever you want it to be – and I guess that’s what makes me unique. My natural style is authentic but witty and you can have that, or any style you wish, down to what you want me to wear!

What do I offer?
Weddings
I honestly don’t have an ideal couple of ceremony type – I love that each couple is different and wants something different for themselves and their guests and my aim is to work out exactly what they want and to deliver it.
My favourite bit of the process is getting to know you. It really is a privilege to be let fully into your lives. It’s important I know who you are to know exactly what you want. Sometimes it’s hard to vocalise your wants and knowing you well helps me work out exactly what you want.

Fabulous!
Pete was fabulous from start to finish. His thorough yet relaxed approach was everything we wanted from our celebrant. From my initial
enquiry, through to the pre wedding meet and preparation of the ceremony wording, Pete was warm, knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. Even though we’d only met Pete once in person, on the day, he felt like a friend and delivered the perfect ceremony, it was everything we wished for.

Perfect wedding ceremony
Pete was incredible from start to finish- he took the time to really get to know us and was able to help us figure out exactly what we wanted from our wedding ceremony. He had lots of helpful suggestions and options for various parts of the service and took great care to geniunely figure out what would work for us as a couple. He delivered the ceremony beautifully and our guests absolutely loved the warmth and charm he brought to our day.
We wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend Pete to anyone!

Pete was absolutely amazing at conducting the evening ceremony at our wedding, so much so that almost 4 years down the line we still have our guests talking about how brilliant it was. Pete made the ceremony personal and fun, his presence effortlessly held the crowd of almost 120 people and it felt like having a friend stood up there with us. Pete was extremely professional, great at communication in the lead up to the event and came up with some fantastically creative ideas to make the whole event incredibly memorable. We honestly cannot recommended him highly enough.
