Hi, I'm Sam
My name is Sam and I am a fun loving, open minded, modern celebrant who loves any excuse to celebrate life’s special moments!
I create unique ceremonies that ooze personality, love and warmth and that truly reflect who you are as a couple or family. I believe life is all about love and celebration – and your day should be all about you!
I have lived in Bristol for 20 years and this is well and truly home for me. I live with my husband and our legendary Westie, Chester and we love travelling, weekends away and long dog walks.
I am partial to a bottomless brunch, a karaoke session and love a musical! I’ll always strive to support small, local businesses, of which there are many amazing ones in Bristol, and love eating out, especially if it involves street food or Japanese food!
What's my ceremony style?
My style is modern and contemporary and I love an unconventional wedding. Festival weddings are great! Having said that I also love an outdoor wedding and barn and manor house weddings! I think having variety is fabulous!
It is so easy to fall into the trap of planning a wedding you think you are supposed to have rather than the one you really want. I will champion any wedding that takes tradition and turns it on it’s head.
If you were to ask me what my dream ceremony would be, it would be disco themed, involving dogs and a flashmob! I

Your ceremony should be fun, and so should the process involved in getting to know you and creating your script! So grab that glass of wine and lets start planning a day you’ll never forget!
I love to travel and I have worked in the travel industry for 12 years creating bespoke holidays and dreamy honeymoons. I pride myself in capturing every important detail to deliver a distinctive and special experience for my couples and families.

Firstly, a massive congratulations!
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I truly believe this should be unique and memorable, celebrated your way!
You may want to include religious elements or family traditions, or none at all. Or perhaps you’d like to include symbolic elements such as a candle unity, sand ceremony or toast with your favourite tipple. Because this day is all about you, you can take any tradition and turn it completely on its head.
I’m happy to help with choosing readings, poems, music and vows, or if you’d like to write your own, then go for it! I will work with you to create a totally one of a kind ceremony with bags of personality and significance
I will arrange an informal chat so we can discuss your plans and ideas and any questions. This gives you time to ask me any questions. I will then send out a couples questionnaire a few months before the ceremony so I can dive deeper into your story and we will follow up with another meeting to discuss the logistics. Then comes the creative part – writing your ceremony! After as many amendments as you need, its time for the big day! After the ceremony you will receive a commemorative script of your ceremony and a certificate for signing.

Naming Ceremonies
Bringing a new life into your family deserves to be celebrated! If you don’t want a church christening but want a ceremony filled with joy and laughter, a naming ceremony is a wonderful way of welcoming a new baby, step or adoptive children into your family. It’s also the perfect excuse for a family get together!
Parents, family, friends and guide parents can all be involved in the ceremony and it can take place anywhere you wish. You may also like to include a symbolic element such as tree planting, a wish box, or have poems or music – again the possibilities are endless for a truly unique and significant day.

Renewal of Vows
A renewal of vows is the most wonderful way to reaffirm your love for each other.
There are many different reasons why couples choose to renew their vows. Have you reached a marriage milestone? Or come through one of life’s hardships together? If so, a vow renewal is a great way to celebrate your relationship. Surround yourself with family and friends, or keep it more intimate, we can relive those moments of when you first met, the engagement and all the fantastic memories you’ve made as a couple. It’s the perfect way to commemorate your journey together so far and the hopes and dreams still to come.

What a wonderful send off
What an amazing lady, Sam put us at ease and asked and answered questions in a very gentle way. She put together a tailored service with everything we mentioned and made it so personal. Sam has a wonderful outgoing, adaptable and warm personality with a really good sense of humour. Could not recommend her highly enough.
We loved the personalisation!
Sam was a wonderful Celebrant for our wedding, she was really friendly and ensured that everything was perfect for us. The personalisation for our ceremony was exceptional! We also loved the small touches, such as a print out of our service and a lovely handmade card.
Uplifting and Refreshing, we are still raving about her now!
It was an absolute joy to have Sam as our celebrant at our wedding in September, and we cannot recommend her highly enough!
