Hi, I'm Sarah
I’m a busy Award Winning Family Celebrant working with families and couples to create ceremonies in keeping with their wishes, values and beliefs. Ceremony is important whether it is to cherish the life of a loved one at a Funeral Ceremony or to celebrate the love of your life with a Wedding or Vow Renewal Ceremony I’m here to guide you with my experience, professionalism and care.
I write bespoke ceremonies from scratch, no templates here! It’s about you and your family. Together we will design a ceremony that is personal, that is you, that is special and very much a one-off. Pretty much just like you are!
What's my ceremony style?
My ceremonies are unique, informal, have a sense of fun with YOU at the very core. I find that even with funeral ceremonies those with a touch of humour, where appropriate, provide a huge amount of comfort for family and friends grieving their loss.
My style is, well, Me. Relaxed, informal, professional but not stuffy, organised yet flexible to cope with any mishaps or surprises!

Why choose Sarah?
My style is friendly, informal and approachable but I’m also very highly organised. But don’t take my word for it, head on over to the Review section to see what others are saying!
Every June I volunteer at Glastonbury Festival and not only are people my passion but the environment and its wildlife too; I’m a member of the Woodland Trust and the WWF. If you’re like me then you have a sense of fun, you love life, the planet, the natural world and you simply embrace life and all it has to offer.
What do I offer?
With a celebrant-led wedding, vow renewal or blessing you are absolutely free of the constraints that the legal process enforce on your ceremony. This means you can design a very personal, heartfelt, intimate ceremony in a place and time of your choice. You may opt for something simple with a traditional feel or want to include special and spiritual elements into your ceremony, be it a hand fasting, broom jumping or unity ceremony; you may even be looking to include members of your family or friends into the ceremony.

Why choose Sarah for your renewal of vows?
Head on over to the Reviews section to find out why.
I have undertaken intense bereavement training and have worked extensively with families bereaved by suicide.
Not all celebration of life services or semi religious funeral services are held in a crematorium and nor should they be. The choice is yours to provide a backdrop for the most fitting farewell.
Or you may be considering planning your own ceremony and it can be very reassuring to know that your funeral arrangements are taken care of in advance – I can help you.
I also provide bespoke Memorial Services and Ceremonies for the Scattering of Ashes. Please get in touch with me for further details.

You did our mum proud
Elaine and I just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank you’ for how you handled mum’s funeral.
I am aware you were reading our words and mum’s life story, but it was delivered beautifully and professionally.
Lots of people commented on how lovely the service was and that was thanks to you.
It was a very sad occasion, however we felt that we gave our mum the farewell she deserved, she was loved by many and will be very much missed.
Thank you so much Sarah you did our mum proud.
A Wonderful, Wonderful Experience!
Wonderful, wonderful experience
Where do I even begin? Sarah is truly a master of her craft. She conducted our ceremony yesterday and it was absolutely stunning and the most wonderful way to start our day.
The way she built her knowledge of my husband and I was spectacular and afterwards, I actually said I felt like she’d known me all my life. She is so intuitive and skilled at drawing out information to inform her process.
Everyone who attended our wedding said how special and wonderful the ceremony was and how it was the perfect fit for us. Funny, sentimental, poignant and filled with love. Sarah perfectly judged the balance of us and it was truly a perfect ceremony.
Sarah did the most amazing job of guiding me and my husband through the process. She really held our hands throughout the whole thing and really offered us so much help, love and guidance with it all! She was happy to roll with the inside jokes and offered us so much patience and love in all her correspondence with us. She was incredibly attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble and she was outstanding at responding!
I tried to absorb every moment of the ceremony but it all becomes such a blur so was absolutely over the moon when she handed me a keepsake copy. Something we will cherish forever.
Sarah has been such a massive part of this process and I feel like it’s an end of an era and I will miss her emails – they were always so joyful and loving. She is just a ray of sunshine:
She is truly a one in a million. I so highly recommend her, with all my heart!
Thank you for your wonderful services
I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful services you gave yesterday, both at the crematorium and at 315. I felt your words were just perfect and truly did justice to Laura.
Although it was a very sad occasion , it was the last thing we could do for Laura and I wanted to honour her and show everyone how proud we were of her. Not only were the words very fitting and appropriate, you delivered them with genuine feeling and care.
Throughout the day I had lots of people saying what a wonderful service you delivered.
Thank you also for taking the time to set up the zoom link and also for capturing the service and the day on your phone for her friends around the world. I have also had some lovely feedback from some of the people on zoom. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to others.
Thank you so much
