Hi, I'm Lisa
I offer bespoke ceremonies, Weddings, Funerals, Baby naming, Vow Renewals and Memorials. I have spent the past twelve years treading the boards in the West End as a performer, most recently appearing as Marlene, Raquel and Cassandra in Only Fools and Horses, Musical. I use all my performance skills when conducting a ceremony and you can be sure that your ceremony is in safe and professional hands.
I have a passion for nature and the outdoors. I like to interweave nature and traditional ancient elements like herbs, flowers and their meanings into my ceremonies.
I find supporting bereaved families and celebrating life extremely rewarding, but I also find so much joy in officiating weddings and family celebrations around Bedfordshire, London and the UK.
What's my ceremony style?
I am very approachable and open minded. I like to be able to deliver whatever you want and create personal touches. I’m very creative and like to design and create personal elements to include in ceremonies.
Whatever your dream ceremony looks like, I can deliver. Whether you’d like to have your ceremony at the top of a mountain, under a favourite tree, or under the stars in the middle of an opening to a forest, I will be there.
I will be asking how you see your perfect day and we then will work together to create a bespoke ceremony just for you.

What do I offer?
Weddings
My ideal couple would be a couple who like to do things their way, out of the ordinary. I like to offer completely individual weddings where the congregation will go “WOW!”
I enjoy being outdoors and including nature within the ceremonies. Handfasting and weddings beneath the canopy of trees are my favourite.

Naming Ceremonies
Baby naming & baby blessing ceremonies
A civil naming ceremony is a non-religious ceremony that symbolises the arrival of your newborn into your family and community.
Whether you have a newborn, an adopted child, have become a blended family with a new partner and your respective children, or simply want to introduce a loved one into your family, I can organise a ceremony for you.
I want to take the stress out of your day. I will organise:
– Our meeting,
– bespoke written words/promises and vows,
– additional edits and amendments,
– my professional advice and co-ordination of the ceremony,
– all liason with your venue,
– a rehearsal at the venue prior to the naming day if required
– and travel time and expenses within Bedfordshire
-Certificates for Guardians/special aunts and uncles.

The Ceremony
You can appoint guardians, special aunts and uncles, fairy godmothers and fathers, and guide parents.
During your naming day you may wish to make promises and commitments to your little one. Promises can be made in a statement form or I as your celebrant can ask you the questions, and perform a call and response.
Readings, poems and music can be played throughout the ceremony. I can create a completely bespoke ceremony just for you.

Renewal of Vows

Funerals
I like to work with everyone! My joy comes from getting to know you as a family and allowing you to feel comfortable and relaxed to speak about your loved one openly.
Death can be a very scary reality to face, and organising a funeral can feel like a daunting and monuments task. I will be with you every step of the way.
Together, we create a ceremony that best represents the wants and needs of your loved one, we shall grieve together, say goodbye together and celebrate the life that they had.
I will weave your memories and anecdotes into a Eulogy that best describes your loved one.
I will ask for memories, music , and about the life of your loved one. You may wish to write your own eulogy that I would be happy to deliver or be your voice should the occasion be too much.
My fee includes our meeting, my written words/eulogy if needed, additional edits and amendments. My professional funeral advice and co-ordination of the ceremony and all liaison with your funeral director. Also includes my travel time and expenses within Bedfordshire.
