Hi, I'm Simon
My name is Simon, and I live in Penarth, South Wales, with my wife Louisa & 3-year-old son, Reggie.
I was born and bred in Cardiff, and alongside a massive passion for all sports, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts and watching documentaries. I find learning fascinating.
I am fortunate enough to have been asked by friends and family to be a Best Man, Master of Ceremonies, Groomsman and Celebrant on multiple occasions. Nothing makes me prouder than being trusted by those closest to you. As a Celebrant, I want to help everyone feel special.

What's my ceremony style?
My style is relaxed, engaging and very much as you as a couple at the centre of the ceremony. I like to strike the balance between sincere & humorous.
I’m am excited to launch my Speakeasy Celebrant service in May 2022! Our four core values are authenticity, curiosity, empathy and fun. This is precisely what you can expect from a ceremony we create together. Nothing is off the table, and I encourage you to be creative with your day.
My goal with Speakeasy Club is to create a culture where learning and being inquisitive are relaxed. It’s the norm. I’m a massive advocate of championing ourselves and each other, and I will ensure there are those opportunities for you to do likewise throughout your ceremony.

There is always a way to make the ceremony you want to happen. You as a couple are the priority and what you want from your day is at the centre of the ceremony we create together.

I get excited about supporting couples through the ceremony creation process and emphasis it is a team effort. You’ve got the stories, I’ll weave it together (hopefully in a non cheesy yet sincere and funny way).
What do I offer?
Weddings
I love working with couples who are passionate about each other but also, themselves.
When a couple knows exactly what they want from a ceremony and why they want it, this makes my job so much easier and even more enjoyable.
I’m pleased to offer 2 specific packages however, I’m committed to make sure we put together the perfect ceremony experience for you as a couple, so if the below doesn’t quite fit, let’s chat.
I will provide….
Package 1:
£850*
– Up to 2 in person & 2 virtual meetings to discuss the ceremony, what you’d like it too look like
– 1in person ceremony rehearsal (if you require)
– 1 Bottle of Champagne to enjoy during the ceremony rehearsal
– Writing of the ceremony
– Delivery of the ceremony on the day
– Act as Master of ceremonies during the wedding reception
– Ceremony presentation box including a copy of the ceremony and any specific items from the wedding day.
Package 2:
£650*
As above minus the master of ceremonies role and champagne during the rehearsal.
*subject to any specific items requested for the ceremony.

Naming Ceremonies
I love working with families who are all about celebrating themselves, with those they love all around them.
A celebrant led naming ceremony can be anything you want it to be, so I love working with people who want to be really creative and create a truly unique occasion.
I’m pleased to offer 2 specific packages however, I’m committed to make sure we put together the perfect ceremony experience for you as a couple, so if the below doesn’t quite fit, let’s chat.
I will provide….
Package 1:

– 1 in person & up to 2 virtual meetings to discuss the ceremony, what you’d like it too look like etc
– 1in person ceremony rehearsal (if you require)
– Unique naming day gift for your child
– 1 bottle of Champagne (or non alcoholic version) for the parents/family.
– Writing of the ceremony
– Delivery of the ceremony on the day
– Ceremony presentation box including a copy of the ceremony and any specific items from the day.
Package 2:
£375*
As above minus the champagne, naming day gift and rehearsal.
*subject to any specific items requested for the ceremony.

Renewal of Vows
Any couple who genuinely want to celebrate their marriage, their relationships and themselves.
The motivation to celebrate with those who may not have been around on the original wedding day is a brilliant reason to renew vows.
It can often be A-LOT less stressful than a full on wedding day so the vibe is largely very relaxed and you as a couple can be your true authentic selves.

Vow renewals are a heartfelt way to celebrate your love and reaffirm the promises you made to each other on your wedding day.
Remember, there’s no need to get caught up in the wedding planning again! Vow renewal ceremonies should be unique and meaningful, while wholly re-committing yourselves to each other.
Vow renewals are held for any number of reasons. Perhaps you were only able to have a small wedding at the time. Some couples may be so crazy in love that they simply want to say “I do” all over again. For romantics, planning a surprise vow renewal for your partner can be a way to re-ignite the flame of passion.
Unfortunately Speakeasy Celebrant is not available for Funerals.
