Welcome to the wonderful world of wedding planning. Planning your big day is a lot of fun and it starts with your ceremony. I truly believe love is a many splendid thing and should be celebrated in style. Your wedding ceremony is the climax to one incredible journey and the moment you step out together into the world – let’s set you off in the best way.
A creative perfectionist with a much-loved background in teaching and performing. I spent many years guiding and directing others to shine in their own way. In my opinion, your wedding ceremony is the same – it’s about your love shining for all to see. Together, I know we can create a wedding ceremony that will leave your family and friends glowing with pride.
What's my ceremony style?
Professional, family focused and creative. No two ceremonies are the same just like no two couples are the same. By choosing me to officiate at your wedding, I want you to know you are in safe hands. Weddings are wonderful but they can also be very overwhelming. I want you to be able to stand up at your ceremony feeling completely relaxed. Every element will be well thought out, prepared, double checked on the day and then checked again.
Having spent many years engaging children and audiences my focus is to make everyone feel included and comfortable. You are sharing this amazing life event together so your ceremony should be memorable, sentimental, joyful and full of love.
I am a fan on the traditional elements of a wedding – rings, vows etc so I would say my style favours these but I’m mainly focused on you both feeling comfortable and your guest coming alway saying – wow!

What do I offer?
Weddings
Having worked with many brides over the last 5 years, I have heard it all! Small weddings/ big weddings/ covid weddings / destination weddings; there are a lot of moving parts and a lot to consider. All weddings are wonderful and every wedding is different – that’s what I love.
My approach is focused on listening to you. I want to help and guide you so when the moment arrives for you to say “I do” you will remember every second of your big day because it’s just how you imagined it to be.
In the build-up to your wedding, the most important thing for me is to get to know you. You are entrusting me with your wedding ceremony and this means the world to me. My wedding packages are designed around my couples. Splendid Ceremonies by Steph is for couples who want to create a wedding ambience that relates to them and their guests. There are so many options available to couples today so all my packages are flexible – it all starts with a good chat over a cup of tea.

Steph is a fun, supportive, creative celebrant!
Steph stepped in as our celebrant less than 2 months before our ceremony after a last minute change. From our first conversation with her, we were struck by her commitment, enthusiasm and support. She repeatedly went above and beyond to help us design the perfect wedding ceremony. Even though most of our conversations took place over zoom, she seemed to really get to know us as a couple, and this was reflected in the creative suggestions she made for our ceremony. She really listened to what we wanted, but also gave us invaluable advice and guidance, for which we were incredibly grateful.
On the day of our wedding, Steph was amazingly supportive. She arrived at the venue early and was instrumental in helping ensure that everything was set up and running smoothly. The ceremony she delivered was better than we could have imagined. It blended humour and emotion, and was a really personal reflection of us as a couple. So many of our guests commented on how much they’d enjoyed it – they all loved the fact that it was different to most traditional ceremonies.
Since the ceremony, Steph has sent us through a lovely printed copy of our ceremony and some pictures she took on the day, which was a lovely surprise and which we’ll treasure as a memento of our day.
We honestly can’t recommend Steph highly enough. She was so easy and fun to work with, and her passion for her job shined through in all our interactions with her.

Steph carried out the ceremony of our wedding back in September 2022.
Right from the word go Steph was brilliant. She was regularly in contact to discuss the process and was always on hand to help with any questions.
We had in-depth conversations about the ceremony to ensure it was exactly what we wanted and Steph definitely delivered.
On the day Steph absolutely nailed it. The ceremony was fun and engaging, which is just what we wanted. She had the guests involved and laughing the whole time. She even threw in a little surprise for us which made the day even better.
We had so many comments from guests about how brilliant Steph was and how it was one of the best weddings they had been to.
The day definitely wouldn’t have been as special as it was without Steph. We would 100% recommend her. 5 stars.
