Hi, I'm Vicky
With a background in theatre, radio, award-hosting and writing, I create and deliver truly personal ceremonies. No cut-and-paste on my watch; every ceremony is bespoke, with your wishes absolutely central to the writing process. Wedding, vow renewal, funeral, naming ceremony – whatever the milestone moment, my mission is to make it meaningful and memorable.. What's my ceremony style?
Ceremonies with heart, soul and imagination are my specialty. I love bringing my clients wishes to life, but if ideas are needed, you’ll find me to be resourceful and creative. As an actor and writer I am a skilled ceremony host, ensuring – whatever the occasion – that the tone is always exactly right. But really getting to know people and telling their story with flair is central to the way I work. Because, when it comes to ceremonies, getting personal results in memories to treasure.

And only then do I begin creating a personal and heart-centred ceremony, just for you.

A celebration and confirmation of lasting love always makes my heart sing, and my ideal couple are simply any couple who want to do this. I don’t much mind where their ceremony takes place either – it’s the joy of reaffirming and trumpeting their union that I love to be part of. And if that makes me sound like a sentimental fool then so be it!

There is something so moving and inspiring about vow renewals. The reconfirmation of love almost always has a story behind it, and that is both a privilege and a delight to discover and work into a beautiful bespoke ceremony. Funerals
I work with Funeral Directors and families to create a ceremony that feels just right. Whether a colourful celebration of life or a quiet and reflective send-off, the most important thing to me is to leave those in attendance feeling comforted, and that their loved one has received a fitting and heartfelt farewell.

Thank you Vicky for making Theo’s Naming Day so very special (just like you!). You asked, you listened and you delivered exactly what we asked for, even down to a spirited rendition of Theo’s favourite song, ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’. In your skilful hands, Theodore, Luca Jago was officially named with the blowing of bubbles across his head – much to his amazement! You even managed to banish the rain clouds and get the sun to pour its blessings down on Theo and his adoring family. You made this celebration very special and so much fun, by involving Theo’s close family in the action and cheerfully keeping everything running smoothly. Quite frankly perfect!
The ceremony you conducted for Milly and I was quite frankly perfect. Everyone knows that organising and planning a wedding is a stressful event, but with your understanding and professionalism we received a bespoke, unique ceremony tailored to us without the stress. Everybody has commented on how perfectly it was delivered! With a few pre-meets over coffee, you set us at ease with your intuitive personality and your ability to articulate us and our story was truly beautiful. I particularly liked your grasp of literature; the options for readings and poems were exactly what we wanted and highlighted the true us. We simply could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony.
