I’m cheering because a) you’re planning your wedding and that’s a reason to celebrate, (although possibly a little bit stressful), and b) you’ve found me!
I’m an Independent Celebrant and my goal in life is simple: Seek happiness and make others happy. I believe that your wedding ceremony can be, and indeed should be, a celebration inspired by you, designed by me (let’s take away a little bit of that stress you may be feeling – you WILL have an awesome day, guests WILL have fun, and more importantly, SO WILL YOU!).
What's my ceremony style?
I love colour, cheering, happy tears and basically having a bloomin’ good time! My favourite part of the ceremony is when your guests go crazy, whooping out of love for you! And if this is what you want, I have ways to encourage all the raucous cheers you want :) But hey, it’s your wedding! I’ll get to know you before the wedding and make sure that the ceremony I create is right for you. I adore listening to people tell their stories, I enjoy picking out the best bits and writing a beautiful script, and I LOVE sharing your story with the people you cherish most.

So let me work with you to create a ceremony and celebration that is perfect for you. I have years of experience and have crafted many ceremonies with unique elements: from hand tying to cocktail mixing, from a bespoke poem to a mid-ceremony rock, papers, scissors, I know we will create a memorable ceremony!

Why choose Sheila for your wedding?
I believe that a huge benefit of having a celebrant-led wedding is that the wedding, right from the very beginning, reflects the couple. Guests leave having celebrated in a completely unique way and everyone agrees it was ‘simply perfect’. To do this, I work hard to get to know you, I ask lots of nosey questions, and if you prefer, I send you a draft of the script before the ceremony. I am comfortable sticking with a traditional structure, or going off piste to do something totally wild!

Amazing personalised ceremony!
Sheila was our celebrant at our wedding this August, and she was amazing! We chatted multiple times over skype and in person so that we were comfortable and she knew exactly what we were after. The ceremony she created for us was so personalised, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! She even accommodated our unusual cocktail making requests and made a little poem to suit! We had lots of our guests asking after her and commenting on how unique and perfect the ceremony was. Thank you so much!!
