Hi, I'm Susan
I became a celebrant as my daughter suggested they would love it if I could marry her and her same-sex partner in a unique ceremony that provided love and security. My passion for creating meaningful and personalised ceremonies is fueled by my love of connecting with people and sharing in their special moments.
I have a warm caring nature and a good sense of humour. I love walking and swimming outdoors, socialising, listening to music, going to gigs, and travelling. I love spending time with my family and of course their dog.

I have a good sense of humour, and a lovely Scottish accent with positive connotations showing heritage and belonging. I am highly skilled at gaining your information to capture your story to deliver the perfect script.

The script will be delivered with warmth, humour, and sincerity. I remain calm during stress and will be a reassuring source to you when required (the BIG day). I am LGBTQ+ friendly and an ally.

– Writing your script, and consultation to confirm details one month before the big day.
– Rehearsal and officiating the ceremony in a bespoke way that reflects your unique love story. A symbolic ritual of your choice (I have many ideas for suggestions if required).
– I’ll provide you with a keepsake copy of your script for you to relive your precious moment

Would warmly recommend Susan
This wedding took place as part of Susan’s ongoing training. Before, during and after the ceremony, Susan demonstrated a firm commitment to the couple and had taken time to incorporate their wishes, values and personal style. The ceremony was kind, funny, heartwarming and emotional in turn, and included all the elements any couple might wish for. I would warmly recommend Susan and believe she is committed to ensuring that such a special day is uniquely tailored to the couples wishes.
Perfect
We had our daughter’s naming ceremony this year with Susan as our celebrant. She was so helpful, enthusiastic and attentive. She met with us a few times prior to the day to discuss our script and made sure it covered everything we wanted to include. During the ceremony she was calm, clear and concise with her delivery and was very well prepared. Having Susan there was extra special as she has been a family friend for many years and it was lovely to involve her in our daughter’s day. We would highly recommend her for any upcoming event. Susan did the most beautiful ceremony for my granddaughters naming day. The words she took her time to prepare and deliver were just perfect with a mix of emotion and humour. She put my daughter and son in law at ease for the service supporting them throughout. I would highly recommend Susan.
