Traditional but definitely not ordinary, with a spark of magic to enchant, whatever you desire on the day will be crafted just for you!
It’s such a happy time, but it can be a nervous time for many too, and I want to reassure you that I will take any worry and stress out of the ceremony from the first day we meet – you’ll have a unique ceremony focused just on you!!

My professional roles have included Presenting and Leadership, Education, Retail Management, Administration and Sales. I I hold a degree in English Language and Drama and a Masters degree in Secondary Education with Cambridge University and was graded ‘Outstanding’ as a secondary school teacher of English. Alongside this, I also have many years of public speaking and stage experience.
I’d love to bring this wealth of experience to your own wedding ceremony! You’ll get a first-class service from start to finish! I’m on YOUR side throughout the process and it really matters to me that your ceremony is everything you want it to be – your relationship brought to life!
When you contact me we’ll have an initial chat over Zoom or in person where we can get to know each other and I can find out more about you and the ceremony you’d love to have! Once you have booked your date with me we’ll get planning. I’ll begin to create the ceremony and we’ll stay in touch as I build and weave together your wonderful story ready for your big day! Wedding rehearsals are important too and I can be there to make sure the ceremony runs smoothly and that everything is in place. On the day itself I will arrive well before the ceremony to check on those final details. I can’t wait!
Naming Ceremonies
You might be asking yourself, what IS a naming ceremony? Well, every religion and culture, for thousands of years, has created meaningful ceremonies to welcome new life into families and communities. It’s such a special time, a real ‘right of passage’ taken by close-knit communities, on behalf of the children, to say ‘you have arrived, you are loved and you are an integral part of all of our lives’; it’s a way of acknowledging how important your child is to the life and growth of your family, and of the wider community too. It’s such a beautiful experience and one to be treasured.
But namings aren’t just for babies! If you find yourself ready to reintroduce yourself to your family or society after a change, or if you want to welcome new additions to your family for any reason, then a naming ceremont might just fit the bill!
Step 1:
Book your initial, no obligation consultation where we can get to know one another. You can tell me what style of ceremony you’re planning!
Step 2:
Make sure you get that precious date added firmly to my calendar – don’t miss out!
Step 3:
I will send my questionnaire for you to complete giving me all of the details I need to begin preparing your ceremony.
Step 4:
We’ll have a follow up meeting to finalise details after which you’ll review your planned ceremony. We can spend time here making sure your ceremony is exactly what you’ve been hoping for!
Step 5:
You’ll have the chance to do a final edit of your ceremony and ask me any questions you need to.
Step 6:
Your special day arrives! I’ll arrive an hour before to make sure everything is in place ready for your ceremony to begin!

Once you have booked your date with me we’ll get planning! I’ll begin to draft the ceremony for you and we can call, email or Zoom to go over that draft and make sure it’s exactly what you want. On the day of the ceremony I will be there to make sure it runs smoothly and that everything is in place. Relax and leave the ceremony to me!

As an Independent Funeral Celebrant I create meaningful and fully personalised funeral ceremonies.
I understand the importance of commemorating a loved one’s life with a dignified service that reflects their unique journey, personality and beliefs. Writing and creating ceremonies for families is what I do well and I believe that each person’s life story deserves to be told with care and respect. It is my goal to honour your loved one whilst also providing comfort and solace to those left behind. I am committed to crafting ceremonies that celebrate individuality clearly capturing the essence of each unique person.
My professional background includes a degree in English Language and Drama and years of teaching and presenting. These come together to give me the unique ability to craft your ceremony with skill and flair and you can trust that I will deliver that ceremony with a high degree of professionalism managing every aspect of the ceremony with great attention to detail.
I offer families a range of services:
1. Funeral ceremonies: Creating and conducting personalised funeral ceremonies that honour the life and legacy of your loved one incorporating meaningful rituals, readings and music.
2. Memorial services: Designing and officiating memorial services that provide solace, support, and an opportunity for remembrance and healing.

I also offer a eulogy writing service should you be preparing a funeral where there is no requirement for a celebrant to attend.
I can also help with support in reading and presenting a eulogy if you would require that service.

Dignity, warmth and humour
Susan was exceptional in the construction and delivery of the eulogy celebrating my Mum’s life. Susan provided dignity, warmth and humour on the day along with professionalism and great communication in the days leading to the funeral. I would have no hesitation in recommending Susan.
