Hi, I'm Pippa
For many years now, as a Celebrant, I have written and officiated for and at, numerous different and diverse occasions plus important milestones in families lives.
Whether we are celebrating a new Wedding or Renewal of Vows after many years, celebrating the recovery from an illness or even the Celebration of a Life, every family I work with are unique and special. For me it is a privilege to spend time listening and understanding what is being said and how best to include it in the ceremony.
Together we will go on a journey of discovery so that we can say and write the very best and beautiful ceremony. We will find the essence of what is important, whether it be serious or fun and my aim is to make sure we don’t ever look back and say ‘I wish we had put that in’.
My Commitment to you all is to ensure that my couples and families are given equal opportunity. That everyone is treated with respect and valued. I will not tolerate any forms of unlawful and biased reference or any forms of discrimination. I celebrate diversity, individuality, inclusivity and even quirkiness.
Together we will create a beautiful Ceremony and not miss any golden opportunities.
What's my ceremony style?
As many of my wedding couples come from abroad our phone conversations and emails are the only contact we have until we meet on the day. But after all our creative writing it is like a meeting of good friends!
If relevant, I always like to include rituals and readings from other cultures and religions so I am very experienced in ‘Tang Yuan’ Chinese Tea ceremony, Jewish breaking of glass, South American ‘Las Arras’, Scandinavian wedding traditions, HandFasting, Unity Candle and Renewal of Vows.
I also write:
Baby Naming ceremonies for parents who would like to allow their children to choose their own religion later on in life.
Welcoming children to the family which can include adoption and many other circumstances.
I have officiated at small intimate ceremonies in a home and large ones of over 150 guests. Locations include hotels and country houses of all sizes to remote hillsides, farmyards, Grandma’s beautiful garden or a secluded woo

Naming Ceremonies
Since proudly receiving my certificate in training from The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants in 2011 I have written and officiated at numerous very individual and creative ceremonies. Whether the ceremony is indoors, small and intimate or outdoors and large with the wind blowing, everyone tells me how clearly and well my voice carries. I am now a presenter on Radio Ninesprings 104.5fm and all because of my voice!
I am able to use inspiration from my very diverse career which has covered a wide area of work. I first worked in television and also trained with the Samaritans, spent several years farming, ran my own design company and have been involved in many formal public speaking roles whilst also bringing up my family.
Every couple I write with are unique and special and I love to help them expand their ideas so that the ceremony includes everything they want or maybe never knew they wanted. Together we explore the possibility of including members of their family and friends into the ceremony, which can sometimes be a very healing aspect and often the most surprising people come forward wanting to contribute and show their love to the couple. Every couple have their story and I feel it is my job to encourage and help them explore it so they experience the very best in creating a unique and warm wedding ceremony.
I also write and officiate at Funerals, Internment of ashes, and Memorial services. I always take time, encourage and ensure that I help the family give me all the information they can so that the ceremony I write will be the very best reflection of their loved ones life.

Celebration of Life
“Pippa enabled me to deliver a heartfelt and beautiful speech in front of 180 people at my late husband Sean’s celebration of life party. Sean sadly died of cancer on 20:06:20 aged just 55yrs, we held the party in October 2020 at Fulham Palace, London. I am not a public speaker and I found it extremely challenging to put a coherent speech together. Pippa always had time to rework my speech by zoom phone and in person I will always be extremely grateful for her support and guidance. Pippa is both sensitive professional and a delight to work with . On the day she organised and coordinated proceedings so that the whole event was delivered in a calm and warm way. I can’t recommend Pippa highly enough” Karen
