Hi, I’m Joana and I am the celebrant extraordinaire in Portugal who will bring joy, meaning, originality, captivating and unforgettable moments to your wedding ceremony, elopement, vow renewal, or naming ceremony.

I work with couples in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and beyond to create one-of-a-kind wedding ceremonies that people will be talking about for years.

The Perfect Elopement Ceremony
My wife and I used Joana’s services for our wedding in Lisbon, it was easily the best decision we made for our entire trip. Joana provided us with excellent ideas and and much needed support when we really needed it.
Her ability to incorporate our families (we eloped and are from the U.S.) and her talent at asking all the right questions, put us in a special place before our trip even began. She asked us questions that made us really think and brought me and my wife closer together as teammates. Her ceremony had all those personal touches that made us feel like stars for the day.
We couldn’t thank her enough for all her help, and if we had to do it again, we would always choose Joana.

We Would Pick Joana Over and Over Again
The best decision we made for our intimate wedding ceremony.
Joana is warm, lovely and super easy to get along with. It is very easy to connect with her, which makes everything flow naturally. She took away any stress of the day, and helped us set the last details before the ceremony when she arrived.
When we first met with her (virtually, from Canada), we instantly knew that she would be the perfect fit for us since she is bubbly, caring and has overall great energy. She put together our love story, which was so special, and was very receptive to the format of our not-so-traditional ceremony. The ceremony was very representative of us, and she took care to share with us in advance the structure as we collaborated on it together. It was lighthearted, funny, not too long and very meaningful.

It was definitely the highlight of the day, and we will cherish this memory forever.
