Hi, I'm Theresa
I am a Professional Family Celebrant, specialising in bespoke Civil, Religious, Non-religious, blended ceremonies for Weddings, Funerals, Baby Naming, Vow Renewals and Milestone Ceremonies and all special occasions. I am based in Cork in Ireland but I will travel all over Munster and Ireland and beyond!! ! My motto is : Let me help you to make your ceremony special for you and yours! I have travelled all over to date and love meeting people, helping them, listening to them, and delivering for them what they had hoped for or visualised themselves. Whether I am the Celebrant for a happy or sad occasion, I am able to connect and empathise with people, having so much life experience from having lived in beautiful Ireland but also abroad, I work so hard at getting the ceremony or occasion right and perfect for everyone I liaise with, Once I am contacted by phone/email/social media, I will give 100%
What's my ceremony style?
My style is professional, empathetic to the occasion, I have a great listening ear, I am a great chatterbox but I do love meeting and helping people! I love asking questions about the people I meet and hearing their stories. I try every day to be kind and helpful to people so that they feel better about themselves .I have manners and etiquette and great awareness so that I can make every occasion more comfortable and relaxed. Overall I am a real forward planner with terrific organisational skills so that I am ready in the event of any problem or situation. I have loads of energy and I have an ” Of Course I Can” attitude to my work ad my life. ( Enough about me!! ) At Weddings and fun occasions, I love the laughter and am a very effervescent person but having lost our Mom at a very early age, I empathise and know loss and pain greatly.

Every moment has been special to date, corny but true! I treat everyone that I have met in my role as a Celebrant to date, as if it is meeting myself and the Celebrant will do what I wish the best Celebrant would do for me as the client/customer!
As above in Special Offer or Moment Title, my special offer or favourite moment is the same, all occasions are special and have favourite moments and wording, be they happy or sad occasions! Being a Professional Celebrant for all occasions incorporates every type of emotion and connection and delivery.

I find it hard to talk about myself but truthfully, I am kind, caring, fun, energetic, professional, enthusiastic, I love words and writing, I love meeting people and will always put the other person first. With all of my experience to date, I think a couple or family should choose ME!
What do I offer?
Weddings
Well -maybe i have been lucky to date as every couple so far, has actually been my ideal couple – truthfully, people are wonderful and excited and nervous and have their own ideas and hopes and dreams and I listen, talk, laugh, tell stories, and we end up getting each other. Can I honestly say I love every type of ceremony and I have not yet had a ceremony that has not been a ” favourite ceremony”! I embrace everything from people to their wishes, to their ideas, and nothing is too much!
My wedding package incorporates whatever the couple wish – I am so flexible and spontaneous and will try anything once it is professional and it will be lovely for their guests; We can do prayer if they wish, no prayer if they wish, we can do as long and as short a ceremony as possible – I have been asked to have the Ceremony over in 20 minutes, we can do handfasting, candle, passing of the ring, every kind of ceremony is a possibility and is considered.

In a day of joy and the couple have everyone that they love in 1 location together, I will do my best and know that my ceremonies are always fun and elegant and one that will be remembered.

Funerals
I get a call from the Funeral Director/Undertaker – I will do what is wished for by the family/loved ones left behind, I will/can go to the home of the family or meet wherever suits them , listen and see what that want, get information on their deceased loved one, then have the funeral Ceremony in their home/ Funeral Home/Hotel/ garden or wherever they wish where I will deliver the Service, include whomever they wish to be included, with music, poetry, readings, stories, prayer if required; then I will travel with them to the Place of Rest or Crematorium, if they wish. Whatever is wished for , II will do my very best to provide and make it as gentle and caring and respectful and memorial for the remaining loved ones.
As above, I will do my very best for the family/friends/loved ones left behind; I will meet them for the initial get together, where I empathise with all who have lost someone; I am a caring, sensitive person and having lost my own Mother when I was 19, I really understand the loss, the passing, the grief and the various desires of loved ones at this time. I will meet them, find out all i can about their loved one, then deliver the Service and then again travel, if required, to the Funeral crematorium or place of rest. Please ask and I will do all i can, and more.
