Wedley was started to meet the needs of all couples seeking the right officiant to perform their wedding/marriage service.
Wedley is your local Kansas City based Wedding Officiant service; servicing not only Kansas City, but the surrounding areas on both sides of the state line!
We pride ourselves on creating customized and unique ceremonies that are sure to make your special day one of your fondest memories.
Our Founder, Joshua, was ordained in 2009 and has been officiating wedding ceremonies since 2011.

I made the decision to be ordained in 2009 to ensure that when it became legalized for same-sex couples to marry federally, I was able to provide a loving, caring, and thoughtful ceremony to the LGBTQ+ community after hearing concerns of this being available.
Since that time I have had the privilege to be a part of many different weddings; and look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your special day, no matter how big or small!

Weddings
Modern Ceremony Service
Our most popular option! You will meet with your officiant to get to know one another beyond the free consultation to outline what all you want to build into your ceremony. From there, your officiant will craft your perfect ceremony!
Marriage License Signing Only – No Ceremony
Everyone’s wishes and needs are different when it comes to their marriage. This is the option for couples not wishing to hold a ceremony or need to complete their marriage in a short time.
Elopements:
There are many reasons why elopement may be right for you. This is reserved for 15 guests or less.
Vow Renewal
