Hello, I am delighted that you are considering me as your Celebrant. It would be wonderful if you allowed me to work with you to create and deliver a completely unique, beautiful, and personalised ceremony.
It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to be an intrinsic part of such an important event and I’m committed to working hard, giving you unlimited time and attention.
Based in Yorkshire I travel to venues all around the UK.
My training background in presentation skills, public speaking experience & 10 years as a professional singer, along with Supporting Artist experience in Films & TV, combine to make me uniquely placed to deliver your ceremony with professionalism, confidence and humour.
Personally, I spend my free time walking our two Cocker Spaniels, riding my treasured old Goldwing and practicing my rather poor culinary skills (despite winning Come Dine With Me a few years ago!)
What's my ceremony style?
Initially my priority is getting to know you so I can understand exactly what you want your ceremony to be like. Even if you are not sure yourselves!
I can offer lots of suggestions and after our initial meeting I’ll put together a draft ceremony for us to start with. My style is relaxed, informal but professional and fun.
My aim is to remove any anxieties you might have so you can concentrate on being excited about your day. During the ceremony I will look after, you leaving you free to simply enjoy the occasion.
I am passionate about my role in your celebration and I look forward to getting to know you.

My clients usually want a ceremony that’s informal whilst professional, and involves some fun! They want a Celebrant who will put them at ease from the first meeting and look after them throughout the ceremony.
The majority of my clients are looking for a lovely bespoke ceremony for their wedding, vow renewal, blessing or naming ceremony.

I create warm, heartfelt ceremonies for couples and I am passionate, friendly and creative and try very hard to get to know my couples so that their ceremony really reflects their personality.

Creating a ceremony with couples is an honour and a joy. Placing your love story at the heart of the ceremony is the key to capturing and crafting the perfect day. With the freedom and flexibility to take the ceremony on its own path unique to the couple, is what makes a celebrant led ceremony memorable and magical.

Where can I even start! He was amazing! The ceremony had peoples emotions up & down, it was so personal & lovely!
I can’t even begin to thank him for everything he’s done, the communication was excellent, the ceremony, everything!

Absolute star
Richard is an absolute star! When we were looking for a celebrant who would host our wedding ceremony, we talked to a few different people but Richard really understood us and talked us through everything. He was not only an outstanding celebrant but a genuinely nice guy who helped us when planning our wedding and offered help when we wanted to write our own vows, even bringing a copy of them to the ceremony in case we forgot ours.
We just wanted to say that the ceremony he did for us was excellent! Every guest said how incredible it was and how perfectly it matched us.
If you need a celebrant, Richard is definitely a superstar and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Effortless!
Firstly i just wanted to apologies for not getting to speak with you straight after the ceremony we were just whooshed away into a bubble of excitement. Onto my second point i wanted to thank you for doing such a fantastic job.
Honestly all my guests afterwards were saying how brilliant and effortless the ceremony and vows ran and how welcoming and professional you were. You were just so at ease and in turn made both myself and Stephen at ease. I was smiling from ear to ear throughout and you just hit the nail on the head with every little detail and word we said thanks to you.
Also the poems where so touching and suited us both perfectly. As soon as our photos arrive we will be sending a much more warmer thanks your way.
