The Maryborough

The Maryborough is one of the most renowned 4-star hotels in Cork and is situated minutes from Cork city centre. It is family-owned and has copious amounts of character with a unique style. Set in 18 acres of listed gardens and woodlands it’s perfect for some epic wedding photography and has plenty of grounds for your celebrations.

Alison says, “The Orangery is just stunning. It really has that outdoors/indoors feeling. It’s bright and spacious and the trailing flowers on the ceiling are incredible. The staff are excellent and the food is sublime!”

Castlemartyr Resort

If you’re looking for something a bit more rural then Castlemartyr Resort 5-star luxury nestled in East Cork woodland. It’s steeped in history and tradition dating back to the 17^th century and even has the ruins of an 800-year-old castle that sits close by. Its restoration has been tastefully carried out and provides a luxurious location for your wedding day. if you want something traditional, then Triskel Christchurch is for you. This auditorium is a beautifully restored 1700s Neo-classical Georgian Church and is part of the Triskel Art Centre in Cork city. Think stained glass windows, high ceilings and stunning acoustics.

Alison says, “This is another city centre location and an ideal setting for those looking to blend religious and civil ceremony. The setup is stunning and so accessible too!”

The River Lee Hotel
