Are you looking for something a little bit different when it comes to a venue for your wedding day? Norfolk provides some extraordinary quirky wedding venues, from eclectic art rooms to safari themed barns.
Self-proclaimed quirky celebrant Dawn Rees of Dawn Rees Ceremonies is a humanist celebrant with a zest for easy-going, offbeat yet sincere ceremonies. In her words, she's "just as likely to have a tequila shot with the couple in the middle of a ceremony as I am to pass the tissues to a tearful bride or groom"
Based in Norfolk and a regular celebrant at many of the venues she's the perfect woman for the job. She gives us her top picks for quirky wedding venues in the Norfolk region.
The Flint Room
"The Flint Room This deconsecrated church is filled with eclectic choices of furniture, art and artefacts. I'm a regular here and there is tremendous synchrony between me and the owners so that couples definitely get more than the sum of their parts."

Belle Grove Barns
"Belle Grove Barns is a magnificent one-off (a bit like me!) built by the owners who were the first company in the UK to market overland Africa safaris in the 70s. It is full of their collections from all over the world. It also has five converted barns for wedding guests. I am the sole celebrant working here so I clearly have a lot of love for it!"

Voewood House
"I'm a regular attendee at Voewood House. This Grade II Arts and Crafts house was built and extended to accommodate a big wedding party with 20 bedrooms - each room is different. It's full of art and has its own kitchen for your own caterers and a magnificent garden so you can have your wedding inside, on the terrace or in the sunken garden or on the lawn."

College Farm
"Built in 1478 College Farm has been in the same family since! The host, Katharine Wolstenholme is completely unflappable and a magnificent cook. There are acres of grounds, sheep, alpacas and hens. It has a converted barn for indoor ceremonies along with a bridal suite attached, and an outdoor wedding area for tents and marquees. At one wedding I did at this venue, the bride was rowed up the lake by her dad (marginal exit in the dress from the boat to dry land!)"

The Dial House
"The Dial House is an out of the ordinary small hotel for couples with imagination and style. Complete with Vintage Vegas clothing for sale on the top floor. Magnificent food and a party vibe for the discerning out of town party goers. Nothing is too much trouble for this venue and it has huge potential for couples who want something completely out of the ordinary."
