We had both done the big, church, weddings in former lives and were looking for something small, intimate, and on which we would be able to reflect, with joy, for many years to come (hopefully decades). The weather helped, as did the venue, but we knew that a fellow Clipper boat sailor would provide a very classy act, and so she did.
