Emily is an incredible celebrant – she is kind and patient, conscientious and pays the most incredible amount of attention to detail. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, due to how personal it was and what a lovely person Emily is. We had an unusual ceremony of a Pagan Handfasting, which would have been lovely enough, but as Emily had taken a lot of time to get to know us individually and as a couple, she interwove some fantastic details of our relationship into this part of the ceremony, such as turning it from a standard Pagan Handfasting in to an ‘Unbreakable Vow’ from Harry Potter, as we got engaged at Harry Potter World! Other details included lighting a candle for a recently deceased family member and the Pagan tradition of Jumping The Broom. Everyone was blown away at the level of detail of each section of the ceremony and many people were not convinced that we had not written the ceremony ourselves! She makes everyone feel at ease, has a great sense of humour and a wonderful capacity for dealing with people. I cannot honestly recommend Emily enough – she has definitely found her calling in life!
