Where do I start. This man give our boy (my brother) the send off he deserved and would have loved. When David come into our home within minutes we knew he was the right one. He was so easy to be around. He was kind, caring and genuinely give us light on one of our darkest days.
We explained how incredible our brother was , and that he was a cheeky one. We set the theme as our brother requested which was festival. We wanted the service as fun just as John would have wanted
David blew our minds on the day. Despite the fact we were sent the service (to ensure it was right) we did not expect what was to come. David added his own touch (even took his suit off to show a Glastonbury top).
He added a poem at the end of the service for which we didn’t expect but we will never ever forget it. Through that poem alone he displayed he truly listened to who our boy was
Multiple people have explained it was the best worst day of their life , and that was down to David
I struggled to read my poem and didn’t know if I could . David supported me with his presence
As a family , we will never ever forget what he did and we only wish that our boy got to meet him
