My wife Jen is currently living in the USA and I am still in the UK which created some obvious challenges when planning a wedding ceremony. We were looking for an independent celebrant who would be able to work with us, via Skype to make our day as special as could be. Thankfully we were directed to enquire with Gaynor Stickels and tentatively made an initial telephone call to field whether Gaynor would be a good fit for us. Thank God we did.Gaynor is an absolute professional. From the first telephone call, to the various Skype meetings, Gaynor was always available to field my e-mails or text messages querying aspects. This is a lady who has her stuff together. Gaynor took all the stress and burden of arranging an international ceremony and tailored her approach to fit in with our needs and was incredibly organised, willing and kept us on track. Gaynor provided so many inspiring ideas and shared her experiences with us and created the most wonderful service.Gaynor drafted a wedding script for us, and it was beautiful. I didn’t appreciate the amount of work required going into meeting the couple, understanding their story, and then writing a script which would be suitable. The script we received was made with love and an abundance of care and attention. This again removed more anxiety as we knew we were in good hands. On the day itself, Gaynor arrived in good time and introduced us to her husband who acted as the music fader. This took away another element of stress and worked like a dream. The ceremony went so well and everyone remarked how it was the highlight. It was delivered with humour in the right places, and she did us proud. If you are looking for a positive, delightful and professional celebrant for your event, pick up the phone and have an initial call. She really set the benchmark high for us and we would happily recommend her onto our friends and families who have events in the future.Gaynor, thank you for making our day so special, we truly appreciate all that you did for us.Rich & Jen, 22nd June, Royal Arms Sutton Cheney
