Thank you very much indeed for conducting such a wonderful service for our friend Mike on Monday, and for reading out our tributes so beautifully. We were really sorry we didn’t get a chance to speak to you afterwards. We assumed you would be going to Mulberry Lodge and that we’d get a chance to talk to you then, but we looked for you everywhere to no avail. That was a real shame as we were both looking forward to thanking you personally.Everyone we spoke to said how beautiful the service was and how good you were in conducting it, so I hope your ears were burning all afternoon! We’ve since spoken to lots of people who were at the service, and all of them have said what wonderful service it was. At least two have said it was the best service they’ve ever been to. You did such a wonderful job of keeping everything flowing and both Jill and I were, and are, full of admiration.
