How impressed were me and our boys with the professionalism of Andrew!

He went above and beyond what many celebrants would expect to put up with. We didn’t want suits and ties or formal dress of any kind so asked attendees to wear ultra, ultra casual attire-including Andrew! Jeans, rock t shirts, trainers etc. Andrew stepped up to the plate. Not sure if he would have preferred to be in a suit and tie, I never asked and Andrew looked the part so I didn’t nother asking!
He fitted in like a hand in a glove.
The actual event went without a glich. It surpassed all my expectations and that of our guests. We had only positive comments about the venue, ceremony and Andrew. What a star.
He had the balance of humour and sobriety spot on.
THANK YOU ANDREW you made a painful day so much easier to deal with

I worked for many years in the public and voluntary sectors before training as a funeral celebrant. This came about after I led the funeral of my own father which I found cathartic but actually also quite enjoyable. My professional career to that time had given me skills and experience in public speaking, writing and presenting information and engaging with people in challenging situations - all of which are core skills required of a celebrant.I undertook and passed the Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy with Civil Ceremonies Ltd. and began working in May 2017.
