We first met Vikki at one of our friends weddings and I knew at that moment that we wanted her at our wedding. Vikki made our wedding personal, creative and unique. We never quite imagined when Vikki suggested at our first consultation about adding in some things that suited our personalities from baking to rock, paper, scissors. We cannot thank Julie enough for creating something so special to honour our mum. From simply asking us questions about our childhood and family life, Julie wove a beautiful story of Mum’s life from birth to her reunion with our beloved dad. The service was truly beautiful – a sentiment echoed by everyone there – and undertaken with so much care and respect. Julie made a difficult day so much easier, supported us, and gave our mum the send off that we wished for and that she deserved. Thank you just isn’t enough to express our gratitude.

Thank you, Fiona and Enda, for helping us have the most beautiful vow renewal ceremony. Fiona was so very helpful from start to finish in planning of the ceremony from our first zoom call to our final ceremony, everything was perfect for us. It was love at first sight, we were looking for a close, natural and personal wedding celebrant. Without a doubt, Diana created the ceremony we had dreamed of. We both wanted to say thank you so much for our beautiful wedding ceremony on Saturday – it was absolutely perfect and the best start to our day of celebrations! If there was 20 stars i would give you them, kirsty was absoutly fantastic my aunts funeral was made such at ease by how kirsty spoke and acted personal statements out esp by havin to learn ‘fuck off’ in a belfast accent lol. A moving visual tribute and a family huddle at the close, testimony to what she has left with her family.

Eliza was fantastic ! Asking her to be our celebrant was the best decision we could have made. Her warmth, energy and humour made the ceremony so very special. We had our wedding near Perpignan in the South of France. We found Helen from the website “get hitched in France”. Nikki conducted a sand ceremony for us at our wedding. It was the most beautiful and poignant ceremony and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.With five children between us (teenagers and little ones) we wanted the children to be part of the service and this was the perfect way to do it. Hannah was such a joy to work with in creating our wedding celebration last year. We had no idea what we wanted in terms of how the ceremony would flow and what we wanted to evoke…she helped focus us on what ‘we’ wanted to share with our friends and family and she did this in such a gentle and sensitive way…it seemed to evolve into something completely personalised and unique but it was done in a very natural way and it never felt forced or contrived…she completely saved us too when we couldn’t locate the sand ceremony vessels and managed to find creative replacements! We were married in June 2019 at Chateau Cassan Southern France. We were drawn to Kathryn at a friend’s wedding in Italy when she was singing for the ceremony. I am very happy to recommend David as a professional Celebrant. We used him for my brother’s funeral and I am very pleased we did. We had a pre-funeral meeting to discuss the details, he was sensitive, professional and knowledgeable about the options and choices we could make. We asked Jess to support a life celebration for family and friends of an artist who died during lockdown in 2020. When I spoke to Lesley-Anne, I knew instantly I wanted to use her for my Dad’s funeral. Lesley-Anne was professional yet sensitive and very warm in the way she conducted the service. Aaah, we couldn’t praise Gitte highly enough! She’s a warm and wonderful person – the best starting point. She’s also a brilliant, sensitive celebrant. With Gitte we got a ceremony that reflected us rather than follow convention for the sake of it. Gitte guided us by suggesting different elements that we would never have thought of ourselves, and gave us space to choose and adapt. We would like to advise any couples thinking of celebrating their wedding on the beautiful island of Mallorca to not hesitate in using the services of Distinctive Ceremonies Mallorca. We had the very great fortune to have Paul Archer available to conduct our service on the 8th June. He was professional, articulate, eloquent whilst simultaneously being poetic, romantic, charismatic and humorous. Where to begin?! Rachael was an integral part of making our wedding day as special as it was – from our first conversation through to saying our goodbyes at the end of our ceremony, she was warm, welcoming and truly treated us as friends rather than clients. We had a wonderful meeting with her ahead of our wedding, where we had a lot of laughs together and she created a beautiful, bespoke wedding ceremony that perfectly captured us and our story. Where do I even begin?! Angie from Getting Married in Scotland is simply brilliant!!!!!! From the very first email I sent only just a few months before the date we had in mind, Angie was very quick to respond with informative and friendly responses. She helped with EVERY aspect and offered suggestions from everything to potential musicians we might hire, to ideas for the ceremony and all the little details. My husband Cameron and I had a very small, outdoor ceremony at Loch Morlich in the Scottish Highlands – which was absolutely beautiful. Debbie Kelly wrote and conducted our wedding ceremony for our beautiful wedding in May. From the start she got our sense of humour and worked with that but also made it very personal to us to, which made it very special and emotional at times. So very pleased we chose Debbie as she was very professional and came up with some suggestions for the ceremony that we hadn’t thought of. She came out to meet us prior to the day, to go through everything, which put us at ease on the day as we had already met. One less thing to worry about. We had the perfect day. X

Sonal was such a perfect celebrant for our wedding.When we decided we wanted to create our ceremony, we knew finding the right celebrant was a crucial task. From the beginning, Nikki was professional and friendly. Her communication was incredible. Nikki got to know us as people and was able to incorporate this into our ceremony to make it very personal and funny. She really put us at ease and that way, we enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend her!

I just wanted to thank Lindy for every little aspect of our ceremony. Lindy is such a lovely down to earth person who listens to what you want and puts her heart and soul into her work . Thank you for the wonderful job you did as our Celebrant! The ceremony was so beautiful! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place! Our ceremony was crafted by Katie Keen of True Blue Ceremonies. We didn’t want a traditional ceremony script, but rather wanted something that was personal and meaningful to us and our closest friends and family. We had the BEST time planning our ceremony with Rebecca from Friday night zoom calls with gin and rum (us obviously) to our dress rehearsal in the garden dancing down the aisle. Gaynor did an amazing job at organizing a evening for our forgotten pets at our rescue, every little detail was checked before hand. It was thoughtful, sensitive and full of tears and the occasional laugh. She gave the whole evening a relaxed and loving vibe and will be asking her back again next year

My wife Jen is currently living in the USA and I am still in the UK which created some obvious challenges when planning a wedding ceremony. We were looking for an independent celebrant who would be able to work with us, via Skype to make our day as special as could be. Thankfully we were directed to enquire with Gaynor Stickels and tentatively made an initial telephone call to field whether Gaynor would be a good fit for us.
