When my husband and I got engaged last August and started discussing potential wedding venues, it quickly became apparent that our preference was for our wedding ceremony to take place at my parent’s garden in Sussex as opposed to our local church (where my sister got married two years previously).Whilst exploring (via Google) different ways of conducting a wedding ceremony at home, we (fortunately) came across Hilary. After meeting Hilary for a quick coffee to get a feel for her personality and wedding offering, both my husband and I mutually agreed (without hesitation) that she was perfect for our big day. After a couple of informal meetings and emails flowing back and forth, Hilary conducted our wedding ceremony just over a week ago and I can honestly say that she surpassed all our expectations. None of my family or friends had been to a service conducted by a celebrant before and everyone was honestly blown away by Hilary’s warm persona and professional nature. Several of our guests commented on how personal, well written and thought through the service that Hilary created for us was. At the end of the day, Hilary left us with some wonderful memorabilia which included a copy of our ceremony script and the signed personal vows my husband and I made to one another. A lovely touch.I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hilary to anyone looking for a celebrant for their wedding. She was wonderful.
