When we decided on The West Mill in Darley Abbey as our venue, we had originally thought we would use the local registrar to conduct our ceremony. We are so glad looking back that we revised this decision. After attending a friend’s wedding who had chosen this option, we had our eyes open to how unpersonal it was. Luckily, we came across Piers shortly afterwards who was able to help us design the exact experience that we wanted for our special day. Piers’s ability to connect and engage with everybody there really made all the difference to ensure that we got the relaxed, fun vibe that we had been wanting while still ensuring it was a memorable sentimental occasion. We had 10 bridesmaids and he managed to remember them all by name! When so much time, effort and money goes into planning a wedding I think this part is often over looked even though to us it really was the most important part of the whole day.
