Please accept my sincere thanks for leading our mother’s funeral … I had never attended a civil funeral before so was a little anxious before the ceremony took place, however, my anxieties were immediately allayed because you delivered mum’s eulogy with such eloquence and dignity. You do an incredibly worthwhile but difficult job, meeting people for the first time at what is probably the saddest, most stressful and emotional time of their lives but you were so kind and understanding to us all. I am sorry if we left things until the last minute and probably gave you more information about our brave mum than you needed but once again, thank you.
