Dear Lindy,I just wanted to thank you on behalf of my Dad, William and I, for the beautiful service you gave my Mum, Sandra last Friday.Words can never express how grateful we were for the wonderful way you brought my Mum’s story to life. We cant thank you enough for your professionalism and compassion throughout this difficult time. My worry was that we werent going to manage to capture and portray the special lady my mum was and that we werent going to do her justice, as how do you put a life so well lived into a few words? Thanks to you though, I think we far exceeded our expectations. Everyone we met that day, and have spoken to since, has said how beautiful the service was, and how you spoke like you had known my Mum personally, and that’s all we could have hoped for. It has undoubtedly been the worst 3 weeks of our lives and we are still in a daze as it starts to sink in and we have to find a way to carry on without Mum being the centre of our world. We can look back on the funeral though as the most special day and I think we more than did her proud. Your words were perfect and my Mum would have loved how you spoke about her, the music we had chosen and the fabulous turnout of people, especially given the current situation. Though our hearts were breaking, Dad and I couldnt have hoped for more and thats thanks to the care and attention to detail from yourself and Steven McIntyre. You have both looked after us so wonderfully well and we cannot thank you enough for making this most painful experience as easy as possible.
