Dear Liz, Just wanted to let you know how touched we all were with the service today. I appreciate that clients like us pass through your life on a daily basis and I understand this day will fade with time and become a distant memory. the pain will fade and the joy of the man who was dad will rise. We will remember the man who gave so much and asked for so little. I sincerely hope that I will continue the legacy and become half the man he ever was. I have to admit that I was not looking forward to our initial visit and the responsibility in trying to convey the life of a man well lived in 20 minutes. However, I wanted you to know granted a few beers down the line and a heart full of emotion, you gave me the strength to convey the character, subtle nuances, love and affection of a man who contributed so much to those around him here on planet Earth. Thank you for being a beautiful orator, for putting mum at ease and allowing us all to connect with dad one more time. My dad would have said “Liz you did just fine”. Farewell and my gratitude spans the universe, Mark.
