I love a good planning spreadsheet as much as taking the bones of a story and re-creating it into something meaningful and memorable - with just a touch of rebellion. Now as a celebrant writing and delivering ceremonies for hellos, I Do's and goodbyes I combine all the skills I've acquired from years in high pressure live events as well and the experience of writing stories that journalists want to print and readers want to read. I talk with families to learn about who they are, understand where their boundaries are and inspire them to have the ceremony they really want, but never thought they were allowed. Then we'll create a beautiful, memorable and totally bespoke service that is full of warmth for them and their guests before introducing a little of the unexpected.
