I am an independent modern family celebrant based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. If you choose me to be your celebrant, together we will create a unique and special ceremony that is perfect and personal to you!

I am willing to travel within a 50 mile radius of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. I will, of course, travel internationally if the need arose, and would be excited to do so.
What's my ceremony style?
I am fun, friendly and inclusive, and my smile is my trademark! I love people, and I am keen to find out about you, your life and your history. I am at my best when I am helping, caring for and supporting others, especially those who need the most support. I love romance, a good love story, and can’t wait to be part of your history.
With over 30 years experience in nursing and teaching, I hope to be the confident, compassionate celebrant you are searching for.
One thing that makes me especially unique is that I have spent many years during my previous careers supporting Deaf / deaf people. I am qualified in Level 2 British Sign Language. If you are a BSL user, I can help and support you to create the most memorable ceremony. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

I will use my training as a teacher to offer a professionally written and delivered ceremony, inclusive of all of your thoughts, wishes and ideas, brought together in a confident ceremony you will be proud of.

Weddings
Simply celebrate life, love and your future!
My ideal couple will be two people who are devoted to each other, who want to do things their way for their special day. Traditional or modern, whatever you wish, that will be fine with me!! Your experience will be uniquely personal, a perfect day designed by you, a perfect memory!
We can arrange an initial, free, discussion. If I am the right celebrant for you, we can meet again to make sure we have discussed everything. We will discuss the options open to you to find out what is right for you.
I will then create your bespoke wedding ceremony, a script that contains your words, your vows (which can be written by you both), a uniquely special event, filled with love and laughter, that will be remembered forever.
If you want a rehearsal of the ceremony, this can be done a few days before the wedding, to calm your nerves and build your trust that everything has been included.
On the day, I will be there in good time to make sure everything you wished for is in place and ready to ensure you get the uniquely perfect event you wished for!

Traditional (but it doesn’t need to be, unless that is what you want), modern, quirky, stylish, off-the-wall! Whatever you choose it will be unique and personal to you! Naming Ceremonies
Do you want to celebrate the life you have created, the family you have started and to make wonderful, memorable moments together? Let’s work together to create a naming ceremony that is unique to you; filled with love and laughter, a fitting way to welcome your child into your family! Close your eyes and describe your ideal day to me, and we can make it happen!! Naming ceremonies can also be conducted for step / blended families or to welcome adopted and / or fostered children into your loving family.
If you choose to book your naming ceremony with me, you will receive a heartfelt and unique ceremony, created and designed with all your wishes in mind. We will meet to discuss your vision and together we can make it a perfectly memorable occasion. We can include other family members e.g. other children, grandparents, step-children, extended families and guardians. Get in touch to discuss your thoughts.

It would be a privilege to be a part of your journey. I will create a naming ceremony that is unique to you and your requirements, adding all the special touches we have discussed to make the day perfect! I have lots of ideas to share with you, including creating laughter, dancing, singing, bubbles, wishing trees, and, of course CAKE! Lots of CAKE! A mother to 2 wonderful adults and a ‘Nannar’ to 4 lovely grandchildren, my family is my life. They are my greatest blessing in life and my finest achievement!
Renewal of Vows
Simply celebrate and reaffirm your love and commitment!
Are you loyal and wish to show your devotion by renewing those promises you made? Then you could be my ideal couple to work with. Was it great the first time around and you would like to do it all again? Do you have new promises to share? Do you have new rings to dedicate? Then you can celebrate being together all over again!

Funerals
Simply celebrate and remember a life, a soul!
This is probably one of the hardest things you have had to do, so please be assured I am here to help in any way I can. You will need time to process your loss, and I can help you through the plans and decisions that you will need to make at this difficult time. Together we can create a truly dignified memorial service to honour your loved one and celebrate their life. This can be done through a traditional ceremony, a Celebration of Life, a memorial or anything you wish it to be.

If you choose me for your ceremony we will meet to create a fitting tribute and eulogy.

I will gather the memories you hold dear; shape your words and thoughts into a sensitive and loving tribute to your loved one; to celebrate their life and pay a fitting tribute to remember.
Losing my mother at 16 years old shaped the person I am today. It gave me an empathetic heart; intuition to see what people need at this difficult time. Throughout my nursing career I worked with the bereaved and cared for their loved ones during their most difficult times. I will use these life experiences to be the truly compassionate celebrant you need at this time.
