Hi, I'm Tracy

Hi – I’m Tracy and I’m ‘at your service’!
I offer completely personalised ceremonies to celebrate all events and milestones in your personal, family and love lives: baby namings, betrothals, weddings, vow renewals, big birthdays and anniversaries. I also offer warm and bespoke goodbyes for your loved ones.
I love collaborating with everyone involved to prepare, polish and present wonderfully memorable events as an independent, civil celebrant; these can be as quirky or quiet, chilled or exciting, traditional or alternative as you would like them to be. I aim to create as special, authentic and inclusive a ceremony as possible for clients by working with them, every step of the way.
I am based in and around Hampshire and the Isle of Wight but have a passport and love to go abroad!

What's my ceremony style?

I am an optimistic but pragmatic joy seeker who is also versatile, warm and professional in her approach. Trained, qualified and experienced, I arrive with a blank sheet with maybe just a few ideas up my sleeve for you and we start from there, developing your ceremony in a way that’s specially personalised, however, whenever and wherever you might like it to be.
People say that my clear, warm, trained voice is my USP; I would certainly be happy to confidently deliver the final script with your stories, vows, promises and declarations!
I can be as hands on as you would wish me to be on the day itself and would keep the days leading up to your special ceremony free so that I can devote my attention and energy to you and your guests. I am observant, polite, calm, well – organised and warm. I also love a good giggle!

You may have a few ideas already about venue or vibe – or not – but you like to listen to each other and are happy to build consensual decisions. You are aware and respectful of each other’s individuality, cultures and heritage and make your choices without too much of an eye on the ‘optics’. More than anything, you want to relax and enjoy your special day.
I love a ceremony that has been specially created with and for each couple and their distinctive story, wishes and dreams. It celebrates them and their love in a way that’s perfectly appropriate… for them. Ideally, every element has been included and placed in the ceremony because it holds meaning: music and readings, vows and ring exchanges; it may entail a symbolic element too.
Lastly, it is ready and well – rehearsed!

Typically, my process looks like this:

• Initial no obligation exploratory discussion, ideally in person.
• Contract signed, deposit paid and date reserved.
• Working together on the ceremony you would like to have: further discussions, research, liaison, writing and approving drafts, sourcing materials, making choices, finding music and readings, coaching in public speaking, assistance with vow writing, curation of content, final script agreement, final preparations, practice and rehearsal.
• Final payments made.
• Be there on the day, dressed for your ceremony, to be your honoured celebrant and take you through the most wonderful, important next step in your life…beautifully!
