Congratulations if you’re looking for a wedding celebrant! I offer a warm, friendly and relaxed services. I meet with you to discuss your needs and write a ceremony specific to your requests. You will have access to the script and can make any amendments to ensure the ceremony is perfect for you. I then deliver your ceremony at the venue of your choice, with genuine warmth, be it for a wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony or funeral. I make sure it’s your ceremony, your way…because your choice matters.
What's my ceremony style?
I can do formal or informal wedding ceremonies in a style of your choice from woodland/natural to glitz and glamour.
Family blending/naming ceremonies can be at your own home in a relaxed, intimate environment.
Funerals are always done in a respectful tone but can be as formal or informal as you and your loved ones wish.

I am a warm, friendly person who has been used to public speaking for over 15 years. I have 3 children of my own (all grown up now) and before I became a celebrant, I worked in Early Years and Primary education for 18 years so have a great affinity with youngsters. I am passionate about writing, so you can be sure of a well-written ceremony that is both elegant, unique and personal to you. If your little one has older siblings, they can be involved in the ceremony too to make it a real family affair. Your ceremony, your way…because your choice matters!

Funerals
I work with many different Funeral Directors to deliver funeral services with dignity and respect. Families can book me direct and I will liaise with the Funeral Director of your choosing.
I meet with you and your family to discuss the type of ceremony you want, the music you wish to have played and the tributes/readings/poems/prayers you want to include. I put the ceremony together with you and liaise with your Funeral Director, order your music and write the service, including the eulogy if you so wish. The eulogy is sent to you to make any changes so that it is just how you want it on the day. Your loved one is the focus of the service from beginning to end; their character, their achievements, their unique ways are all celebrated on this most meaningful of days. This is your loved one’s last rite of passage and I aim to make it as special as possible. Your ceremony, your way…because your choice matters.

Wonderful Wedding
Lara was super attentive through the whole process and our family loved how intiment the cermony felt. The questionnaires we were asked to complete ahead of the wedding meant such detail was given when Lara delivered the cermony. She was always super helpful with whatever questions we had ahead of the day, and we had full trust that Lara knew what she was doing & everything would run smoothly.
Beautiful Ceremony
The ceremony which Lara wrote and delivered for us was perfect.
Given our slightly unique situation of getting married last year during Covid, but this being our wedding, Lara managed to balance things perfectly so that it felt like a full wedding ceremony, but acknowledged our situation.
Her tone was professional and warm all at once and we felt at ease throughout.
Many of our guests came up to us to say how fantastic Lara was, commenting specifically on how personal and intimate Lara made it feel.
We will most definitely be recommending Lara to any of our friends or family who are getting married in the future.
Perfect ceremony
Lara was the wedding officiant for our wedding. Officially we had been married for 2 years, but we wanted to celebrate again with friends and family. She held the ceremony very personally and according to our taste. She listened to our wishes and even taught herself some German, as many of the guests came from Germany. After our wedding, many guests came up to us and praised Lara, her relaxed and warm manner and her perfect pronunciation – even all the Germans could understand her. We can highly recommend Lara
