Hi, I'm Karen
A professionally qualified celebrant who has a passion for telling stories. It could be a love story for couples making a commitment to each other, welcoming a new addition to the family or it could be the life story of a loved one who has passed.
Based in Cheshire but happy to travel to wherever your ceremony takes me. Funeral services are generally within a 40 mile radius of my home.
Karen at Miss Daisy Ceremonies has signed up to the Celebrant Accord and is a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants. She trained with Civil Ceremonies and holds a Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples.
What's my ceremony style?
I know it’s important for you to choose a celebrant that listens, cares, and can help you create your special day.
Your ceremony is your chance to share your love for each other with your family and friends, and I am keen to get them involved too! I can suggest ways to involve guests of all ages; from lighting a Unity candle, ‘warming the rings’ or helping you to ‘tie the knot’ – there’s so much choice!
On the day, you can expect me to arrive at the venue early, double check everything is ready and be available to lend a hand if needed. You will have approved the ceremony script before your big day so you can have total confidence that I will deliver a ceremony that is perfect for you.
Choosing a celebrant really does mean you have more freedom to celebrate your ceremony, your day, your way!

Fun or Formal – Choose Miss Daisy
This lady ( Karen Wray ) is the most warm, loving person to say how your loved ones had lived and enjoyed there lives .
She delivers the words as if she knew the person personally – full of joy, laughter, not sadness but caring for that person.
I would recommend Karen Wray , to anyone who wants a very special Celebrant to present the life of their loved ones that have departed this world.
Great Team Effort
This was my 3rd time arranging a naming ceremony for my children, but my 1st with Miss Daisy Ceremonies. Karen was warm and enthusiastic when planning my event, even supported with ideas and suggestions of nice keepsakes. During the ceremony Karen was well presented, and came across really engaging with our family audience and our daughter. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Karen again in the future. And can’t thank her enough.
Miss Daisy to the rescue!
We had a last minute shocker from the registrar that perhaps our ceremony could not go through. It was less than a week to go for the wedding. Luckily, Karen was available for the weekend of our wedding. She is lovely to speak with, very understanding and put together a draft of the ceremony in very less time and arranged for us to have a video call to go through the final details with us and know us as a couple . We were able to sort out the missing documents with the registrar and the ceremony was able to go through and we did not finally go through with Karen but if anyone is looking for a celebrant in Cheshire area, I would highly recommend her as she was our saviour when we thought we were in a very tough spot with so little time for the wedding. Very easy to to speak with and lovely.
