Are you looking for a passionate, inclusive and down-to-earth independent celebrant to create and deliver your ideal ceremony? Look no further! Based in the North West of England, I am available for weddings, funerals, celebrations of life, vow renewals and naming ceremonies. I find it so fulfilling and such a privilege to work with couples and families from all walks of life and can’t wait to hear how I can work with you to create your perfect ceremony.
What's my ceremony style?
My warmth, inclusivity and authenticity is what people usually notice first. It is really important to me that my clients feel heard and accepted, so this is at the heart of everything I do. I really value family and relationships, so it is my aim to ensure that this is reflected in my ceremonies. I also consider myself to be professional and thoughtful, so you can be assured that whatever is important to you will be given my utmost attention. And if you’re looking for a sprinkling of fun and humour, that can always be incorporated!

Weddings
If you are looking for someone to work alongside you to create a unique wedding ceremony that is all about you, then I can’t wait to hear from you. These days you have so much choice when it comes to your wedding. And by choosing to have a celebrant that means you have even more flexibility on your special day. I am more than happy to lead your ceremony in any setting of your choosing, whether that be a licensed venue, a gathering in your garden or a little woodland glade.
The ceremony can follow any format you like, and you are free to weave in any symbolic elements or traditions that you feel reflect you and your partner.

Equally, I’m well up for a ceremony filled with laughter, fun and a sprinkling of madness! So let me help you to tailor a ceremony that is all about who you both are and shows off every little quirk you have. It is my aim to ensure that everyone gets the wedding they truly deserve and desire, without feeling restricted. I also love to celebrate the beautiful array of relationships and families that we are blessed with in society.
Naming Ceremonies
Are you are welcoming the arrival of a new addition to your family, whether that be a newly born baby, step-child or an adopted child? I can help you to create a bespoke naming or adoption ceremony.
Alternatively, you may have some of your own ideas to commemorate a big life event that means everything to you. It may be that you are looking to hold a renaming or transgender ceremony. I am always open to chat about any thoughts or plans that you may have.
All of my naming, adoption and renaming ceremonies are created with you and your family at heart. Every family is unique and special, so it is important that your ceremony reflects this. I will work with you to ensure that we create the perfect celebration, no matter what the occasion, so that it is tailored to your dreams and wishes. We will meet to plan your ceremony, we will consider whether you wish to appoint guide parents for you child, you will have the opportunity to review and revise the ceremony script and I will be there on the day to ensure that everything goes to plan. I am able to include a range of symbolic elements too as well as helping to plan any other activities for guests or significant others.

It is essential that you feel like your naming ceremony is well-planned, organised and tailored to your needs. As a professional, warm and family-orientated celebrant, I can give you all of that. I am also experienced in working with children and families, so will help you to have a fun and engaging ceremony, whilst maintaining a sense of calm and order.
Renewal of Vows
A renewal of vows ceremony is your opportunity to re-affirm and re-declare your love for your partner, in front of your family and friends. You may choose to renew your vows alongside the celebration of a big milestone in your marriage. Maybe you couldn’t have the special ceremony you wanted the first time round. Alternatively, you may have overcome a period of illness or challenge and feel it’s the perfect time to celebrate your union. If so, let’s get together to give you the celebration that you desire. Whether it be a small, intimate ceremony, or something a bit bigger, I can’t wait to help you plan the day!
A renewal of vows ceremony can really take any direction you want it to, so I am always open to hearing your dreams and ideas, to work out how we can make it perfect for you. We will initially meet to discuss your thoughts and plans and then I will craft your bespoke ceremony. You will have the opportunity to review and revise the ceremony script and we can also include any symbolic additions that are meaningful to you.

Funerals
Planning a funeral can feel both overwhelming and daunting, so I’m here to help you right from the outset, until the ceremony is complete. Whether you have recently lost a loved one, or are preparing for a death, I will be there to support you, guide you and answer any questions you may have.
It is my aim to work with you and any other significant people, side by side, to create a beautiful and fitting tribute and make a difficult day a little bit easier. I will also be on hand to offer help and advice with the eulogy, but I can even write it for you if that’s something you would like.
Together we will ensure that your loved one has a dignified and memorable farewell, incorporating any stories or details that are important to you.
Whether it be a more traditional ceremony or a more celebratory tribute to your loved one, I am on hand to make sure that the ceremony is exactly what you want. I will meet with you to discuss your needs at the earliest possible opportunity, allowing plenty of time to review and adapt the ceremony as required. I will liaise with your chosen funeral arranger to ensure that everything is well organised. I will be there on the day of the funeral not only to deliver your ceremony but also to ensure that you are well looked after and supported.

I will always work hard to ensure that you are properly listened to, heard and that I create and deliver the most fitting tribute for your loved one. Every single family that I work with is treated with respect and care. As an independent celebrant, I work with people of all faiths and none. If you want to include a spiritual or cultural element to your ceremony, please talk it through with me.
