Hi, I’m Steph and I deliver heartfelt, inclusive and personalised ceremonies that celebrate the full circle of life.
As your celebrant I play an integral role in setting the tone and holding the space for you to be you. I am passionate about inclusivity and celebrating individuality and pride myself on the authentic connection I form with my families. I am sincere about making sure your ceremony is as unique as you are.
What's my ceremony style?
As your wedding celebrant I take the lead and add a sprinkle of sassiness. I know how to strike the right balance between celebrating love and acknowledging the importance of the commitment being made.
We can go bold or go home. I will warm up the crowd, include vows that involve all your guests, or even mid-ceremony fizz or shots – we can do it all.
Your personalised ceremony will be packed full of stories of how you met, why you are soulmates, amusing reflections and maybe a few happy tears. All before you say ‘I do’ and make your way back down the aisle showered in petals or bubbles by your cheering, hand clapping and dancing love crew!

– An Initial consultation to get to know each other and decide if I am the right celebrant for you
– Full support with the planning of your ceremony including unlimited email and telephone chats. (I also act as an informal wedding advisor providing ideas and supplier recommendations for your whole day!)
– Access to my ‘Love Locker’ where you will find lots of advice and tips for your special day
– A rehearsal to fine tune things including who stands where, how to exchange rings, handle the microphone etc.
– Writing and editing a fully personalised, relaxed, heartfelt, inclusive, fun and memorable ceremony that reflects you and your day
– Inclusion of any symbolic rituals
– Support with writing your personalised vows
– Performance of the ceremony on the big day (including liaison with your venue and other suppliers)
– Commemorative Marriage certificate
– Travel to and from your ceremony (within 20 miles)

Naming Ceremonies
Welcome Ceremonies are a modern alternative to celebrate the inclusion of any new member of your family.
Your ceremony may include religious blessings, or instead family or cultural traditions that are unique to you. You may want a Naming Day Ceremony for the arrival of a new-born surrounded by the love of family and friends, where together you share your hopes and dreams for your bundle of joy. Or it might be the adoption of a child of any age, to the celebration of the new identity of a family member including gender affirmation ceremonies.
If you are combining two families together then a Blended Family Commitment is a wonderful way to demonstrate your love and commitment to each other and to celebrate two families becoming one.
Ceremonies can be held in most places, why not hold your ceremony in your home or garden, or at any location that has meaning for you and your family.
As a guide the below elements are often included:
– It is usual to start the ceremony with the parents or guardians stating the name of the new member(s) of the family being welcomed
– Parents, grandparents, Godparents, guide parents or mentors make promises to the new family member(s) about how they intend to nurture and support them
– Poems, or readings relating to parenting and family support. These can be part of your family tradition, they can be religious or lighthearted
– Music that has a special meaning for family
– Family members signing a commemorative certificate as a lasting commitment of the promises they made to the new family member(s)
– The inclusion of a symbolic action such as a sand ceremony where you and your family blend sand from small glasses into a larger vessel to symbolise unity and the unbreakable commitment to each other.

– Coordination of the ceremony including supporting parents, grandparents, Godparents, guide parents, and any others involved in the ceremony

– Performance of any one symbolic action as part of your ceremony
– Commemorative ceremony script and certificates for you to keep

There is nothing quite like the freedom of design you can experience when creating a Renewal of Vows Ceremony. There is an understated elegance to the whole affair. I can truly reflect who you are as a couple, where you started and what you have now become together.
In your hip, cool and relaxed ceremony we are free to incorporate elements that are meaningful to you, such as rituals that symbolise your continued love and commitment. Your Ceremony can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be and an opportunity to put your own unique stamp on your day. I will be there every step of the way to ensure your day and ceremony is as perfect as your love for each other.
Funerals
I love a funeral. I know that sounds wrong, but there really is nothing like supporting a family to organise and deliver a heartfelt, inclusive and unforgettable celebration of life.
I would be honoured to help you through this difficult time and ensure your loved one gets the send off he/she/they deserve.
My service includes:
– home visit with you and your family to learn about your loved one and plan the ceremony
– co-design with you of a bespoke ceremony that includes all the important memories and upholds your wishes
– the writing of a Eulogy, that acknowledges the true essence of your loved one, and brings comfort to your ceremony guests
– sourcing appropriate readings, poems and music
– involving family members as much as they want to in the delivery of the ceremony on the day
– providing a draft of the Eulogy and ceremony to the family to review
– liaising with your Funeral Director to produce the Order of Service and music schedule
– be there on the day to welcome the family and lead the ceremony
– Provide a copy of the ceremony to the family after the ceremony day
– provide any other support for signposting as required before, during and after the ceremony

Celebrant service for my Mum
I met Steph under awful circumstances and i can only say how lucky we were to have someone so warm, caring and sensitive to help and guide us through mum’s funeral. She is so friendly and approachable but still completely professional. I was amazed at the level of care she took with my mum’s details, telling her story as though she’d known her and us for a long time. I can’t recommend Steph highly enough.
