What's my ceremony style?
YOUnique Ceremonies is all about you. My style is warm and natural, I love getting to know people, their romance, love, experiences, sharing your story with joy, laughter and just maybe a few tears.
Loving what I do shines through me. My background in event management and the hospitality industry is extremely useful, particularly if you are travelling from overseas. The fact that I am not a solemniser gives me the freedom to perform ceremonies anywhere you choose that is romantic and meaningful to you, castles, gardens, a mountain, forest, sea, or sand. My passion for creative writing brings your love story to life, for sharing with your loved ones.

This personalised approach ensures that every ceremony is special and meaningful. Flexibility in Location: As I am not a registered solemniser, offering couples the freedom to choose any venue you desire. This flexibility allows for creative and diverse options, ensuring that couples can celebrate in a location that holds significance to them. Focus on Celebration: By encouraging couples to complete their legal requirements at the registry office beforehand, this creates an environment where the symbolic ceremony can focus on love and celebration without the constraints of legalities. This approach enhances the joy of the occasion. Inclusive and Open-Minded: I believe in welcoming all couples, regardless of their background or beliefs. Naming Ceremonies
What is the significance of a name? Well, our names stay with us for life, and so for many new parents it can be a daunting proposition. However, you choose, welcoming a new baby into the world is such a joyous occasion, abundant with love and wonder.
Marking a new chapter in your family history, introducing the little one to family and friends in a ceremony reflecting your own core beliefs, values, and aspirations for this new life, will set the course of their internal moral compass as they progress through life, rather than following external influences.
I am happy to work with everyone to welcome and name their child or children, sharing their joy in celebrating love.

Renewal of Vows
Many couples choose to mark special anniversaries by hosting a Vow renewal ceremony. As you have navigated the ebb and flow of matrimony, many changes will have taken place within you both individually and as a couple.
Whether you choose to renew your previous vows or would like to create new YOUnique vows in tribute to this next stage of your lives together, it would be my honour to work with you in creating your YOUnique ceremony, specific to your personalities, hopes and dreams for your continued future together.

Funerals
My primary focus is providing a compassionate, respectful service and being sensitive to the needs of grieving families. I personally communicate with the designated family member to learn about the life of their loved one and write their memorial service completely in adherence of their wishes. The family will have the final word regarding text approval. as we navigate through a difficult time together.
The ceremony while being non-religeous may include prayers, psalms or hymns as requested.
Ceremonies at Sea offer the option of an ecological, and environmentally sustainable service.
Returning your loved one to nature by laying their ashes upon the open waters, is a way to honour their life while uniting their spirit with the vast and eternal ocean. The sea, a symbol of endless journeys and boundless horizons, will carry their name on its waves, ensuring that their memory flows freely with the tides and winds.
From March until October, Celtic Lady 2, will depart from the picturesque harbour at Kilmore Quay, Co.Wexford making a brief journey across to The Saltee Islands, where we will drop anchor, in a calming atmosphere, embracing the beauty of our surroundings.
Your personal memorial
ceremony, paying tribute to the life of your loved one, will be performed, and serenaded by the song of the sea with its many forms of wildlife. The ceremony may be witnessed by close family or friends, who will lay a fully compostable wreath afloat on the surface, prior to departure.

Why choose Anne-Marie for your funeral?
Celebration of Life Ceremony. Prior to the ceremony I will meet with the bereaved family members in person or via zoom, in order to learn about the deceased person and the life that they lived. I will write a ceremony that is YOUnique, individual and respectful to that person’s life, family, and values, using humour where appropriate, capturing their true selves within their story with warmth and empathy. While many ceremonies are non-religious, a prayer, psalm or poem that has specific meaning to the deceased or their family can be included. The service will be drafted and approved by the family prior to the ceremony.

Fab!
We recently had the pleasure of having Anne-Marie officiate our wedding ceremony, and we cannot recommend her highly enough! From the very beginning, she was brilliant, taking the time to ask all the right questions during the planning phase. (We both live in Sydney Australia & she always made sure to work with us through the big time difference!) and her attentiveness helped us feel at ease, and we truly appreciated her thoughtful insights and ideas for our ceremony.
On the big day, Anne-Marie did an outstanding job. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful she was, noting her warmth and professionalism. She really knew how to read the room, providing the perfect balance of heartfelt moments and light-hearted jokes, which helped settle our nerves and made the atmosphere so joyful.
Her ability to connect with us and personalise the ceremony was incredible, and we are so grateful for everything she did to make our special day unforgettable. Thank you Anne-Marie, for being such an integral part of our wedding!
Flawless Experience
My husband is a hopeless romantic and we seek out a fun and adventurous way to renew our marriage vows to each other on a yearly basis. What an absolute delight it was to meet Anne-Marie and have her be a part of our experience! Her communication was timely and it felt like she was genuinely interested in getting to know David and I and our story and incorporating it into the ceremony. She was thoughtful, punctual and was even kind enough to gift us each something small from a local shop in Wicklow. I would absolutely recommend Anne-Marie and her services to anyone looking for a sweet and lovely ceremony or vow renewal. We hope to see her again in the future! :)
