I am a professional celebrant who performs Wedding, Vow Renewal, Baby Naming and Benchmark ceremonies that reflect your personality and core values. My love of people, life skills and passion for creative writing combine to work together with participants in designing a ceremony YOUnique to their individuality, conveying their own story in their words, allowing them to relax and fully embrace their very special occasion. On the day you can be fully confident that the story being related to family and friends is YOUnique to your authentic selves, inspired by magical moments.

What's my ceremony style?
YOUnique Ceremonies is all about you. My style is warm and natural, I love getting to know people, their romance, love, experiences, sharing your story with joy, laughter and just maybe a few tears. Loving what I do shines through me. My background in event management and the hospitality industry is extremely useful, particularly if you are travelling from overseas. The fact that I am not a solemniser gives me the freedom to perform ceremonies anywhere you choose that is romantic and meaningful to you, castles, gardens, a mountain, forest, sea, or sand. My passion for creative writing brings your love story to life, for sharing with your loved ones.

While I am an optimist, with a great sense of humour, who loves people and learning all about them as individuals, I am also very organised and I will listen to your requests, your stories, hopes and dreams, to create a ceremony that is YOUnique in honouring who you are. You can relax confident that your wishes are followed through, giving you the freedom to enjoy your special event.
Your ceremony can be flexible to include some old Celtic traditions, hand fasting, sharing sand or tree planting etc. While this will not be a religious ceremony, psalms, favourite hymns can be included, the final say will be yours.

Weddings
It is a privilege to be a part of this process and a pure joy working in harmony with you, bringing the magic of your YOUnique ceremony to fruition, creating it together.
The advantage to participants that I not a registered solemniser, is that I am totally free to perform your ceremony at the location of your choice and I am flexible regarding location and travel.
For information to learn of the legal requirements in Ireland go to www2.hse.ie/civilceremonies. Many couples now choose to have their official obligations fulfilled in privacy at the registry office beforehand, leaving themselves the freedom to choose any venue they wish, beach, mountain, back garden and the freedom to just celebrate enjoying their very special moments on the day.

Naming Ceremonies
What is the significance of a name? Well, our names stay with us for life, and so for many new parents it can be a daunting proposition. However, you choose, welcoming a new baby into the world is such a joyous occasion, abundant with love and wonder.
Marking a new chapter in your family history, introducing the little one to family and friends in a ceremony reflecting your own core beliefs, values, and aspirations for this new life, will set the course of their internal moral compass as they progress through life, rather than following external influences.
I am happy to work with everyone to welcome and name their child or children, sharing their joy in celebrating love.

Renewal of Vows
Many couples choose to mark special anniversaries by hosting a Vow renewal ceremony. As you have navigated the ebb and flow of matrimony, many changes will have taken place within you both individually and as a couple.
Whether you choose to renew your previous vows or would like to create new YOUnique vows in tribute to this next stage of your lives together, it would be my honour to work with you in creating your YOUnique ceremony, specific to your personalities, hopes and dreams for your continued future together.

Why choose Anne-Marie for your funeral?
Celebration of Life Ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony I will personally meet with the bereaved family members, in order to learn about the deceased person and the life that they lived. I will write a ceremony that is YOUnique, individual and respectful to that person’s life, family, and values, using humour where appropriate, capturing their true selves within their story with warmth and empathy.
While many ceremonies are non-religious, a prayer, psalm or poem that has specific meaning to the deceased or their family can be included.
The service will be drafted and approved by the family, with any amendments required, made in good time. The ceremony will be conducted
