What can I possibly say about Louise?

We were forced to go for a celebrant ceremony as there were no registrars available for our wedding day. So we got married at the town hall a few weeks before our wedding day. Who would have known that this would be the best thing to happen to us?

We scrolled past many celebrants who looked very formal, stuffy, boring and traditional and then we found ‘Kickass Gatherings’. The name drew us in immediately, the celebrants appearance cemented our choice and it was made even clearer that she was the right choice…..as I knew her personally.

This may make you think that my review is somewhat biased but we were only connected through mutual friends but I was perfectly aware that she was the right person for the job.

From our first meeting, Louise was attentive, charming, funny and bloody lovely. We had to rearrange our wedding 5 times due to Covid and we had lost all of the spark and excitement, especially my wife who couldn’t have cared less about the big day. After we spoke to Louise, my wife told me that this was the first time she’d been excited for the wedding since I proposed.

The ceremony was personal, funny and sentimental and incredibly unique. We had guests who were due to get married, tell us that they were reconsidering their whole ceremony, based entirely on what Louise has constructed for us.

If you’re on the fence or considering a traditional (yawn) wedding, let me tell you that you need to book a Kickass Gathering. I cried throughout the ceremony and that is a hard thing to happen.

You will smile, cry, laugh and be filled with the kind of rich feelings that are normally reserved for an all you can eat buffet (we love food).

Louise is your one stop shop for making your wedding the most perfect day that you could have ever imagined…..and she even dressed accordingly to our colour scheme….without being asked.

Personal, professional and FUCKING AMAZING. I’m not afraid to swear.
