Planning an intimate, outdoor wedding ceremony in another country is quite a task – add in the anxieties and question marks surrounding the pandemic this year and it feels fairly close to impossible. Working with local partners that are communicative, empathetic and offer their advice is the only way my wife and I were able to do so this year. Reaching out to Angie to officiate our wedding was one of the best choices we made for our ceremony in Scotland. She made the process incredibly easy – offering plenty of instruction and options when it came to putting the ceremony together. Angie was an incredibly kind and understanding partner as the pandemic constantly put our travel plans into question and offered us options and advice as we worked through it. Between e-mail correspondence, a FaceTime call and texts leading up to the ceremony, we already felt incredibly comfortable with Angie as the day of our ceremony arrived. We couldn’t have been happier with the ceremony that Angie had put together for us and the wonderful spirit she brought to such a special and intimate day. As a gay couple, there was honestly nothing quite as important as knowing our officiant supported and celebrated us for who we were and that we felt nothing but completely comfortable and accepted on our wedding day. We feel so thankful to have found Angie, who certainly ticked all of those boxes for us.
