On our first meeting with Stephanie, we immediately felt at ease and completely confident that she would be able to craft and lead our humanist ceremony. Beginning with us, she helped us establish what was important to us as a couple by asking questions we hadn’t thought to ask ourselves. Those Saturday mornings spent with Stephanie were a lovely moment to indulge in our history, reflect on our relationship and look forward to our future together as husband and wife. The ceremony itself went without a hitch, we stood beneath an oak tree on our family farm, surrounded by our friends and family, as we exchanged our personalised vows. Stephanie had us all organised (even when we were quite mad on the day before!) making sure we had everything we needed to ensure it all ran smoothly. She was also very accommodating when we decided to include our dog Ghost as part of our hand fasting ceremony, he had the very important job of bringing the ribbons to us! We had so many comments from friends about how much they enjoyed the ceremony – there was so much love and laughter throughout – and it wouldn’t have been the same without Stephanie’s guidance, support and friendship as we made our journey to married life.
