An experienced and friendly Celebrant, passionate about offering couples choice! With a background in public services and education and training, I was looking for a change of final career, and it just so happened that I was invited to a Wedding in 2003 in Australia, where a friend had a Wedding on a mountain top at sunset. It was so magical. I asked her how it was possible, and she explained how a Celebrant worked with her, and created a totally bespoke Ceremony that was incredibly personal, and special. In 2011, it was time to dust off that dream and make it my own reality. I found Terri Shanks' College and enrolled. It was amazing to know I could offer a new service the like of which was still relatively unknown. I wanted to give couples their Voice in their Ceremony, and now over 300 ceremonies later, I feel so lucky and so grateful in this role. I moved to Berlin in 2017 but now divide my time between the UK and Europe, creating ceremonies for couples in either English or German - German was my first language and it is fantastic to be able to reconnect with it! I am delighted to work with couples who are looking for something romantic, special, personal and magical for their wedding day, elopement, destination or bilingual ceremony.
