We are so pleased that we chose Susan – she wrote a ceremony that was perfect for us and our families. Everything that we discussed, she remembered. Originally we were going for a registry office ceremony but someone suggested we talk to Susan so that the day would be more personal and special. Thank goodness we listened as have since attended a work colleague’s registry office wedding and felt they had been short- changed as it was very short and the Registrar could have been talking about anyone. – it felt a bit clinical. We hadn’t previously realised about the options for having our own celebrant but now will mention this to friends who are planning their own wedding.
