Louise conducted my daughters wedding and from start to finish she was absolutely fantastic. On the run up to the wedding, my daughter said that Louise had the right amount of contact, was detailed and creative, was “normal” and understood when things were pressured for her. On the day, the guests told us how Louise checked that everything was in place, checked in on the Groom and the best man to make sure everything was in order, rings etc and also brought her own mic and speaker set so that everyone could hear. Louise’s delivered a wonderful ceremony, funny in the right places, loving and kind. Reassured my daughter when she was nervous and made everyone feel part of the ceremony, yet it was intimate and private to my daughter and son in law. I completely recommend booking Louise. Thank you so much! Everyone is still saying how professional you are! Thank you! x

Celebrate Your Next Chapter

As a Celebrant, no matter what ideas you have, I’m here to help make your dream celebration a reality. It could be your wedding, baby naming, blending your family, a new home, the possibilities are endless. Contact me to schedule a free consultation and learn what I can do for you. The first time I was ever asked to be part of a Ceremony of Celebration was writing a reading at one of my close friends civil weddings. With having a natural flair for presenting and writing, I realised that I enjoyed the role immensely. Following this, it was an honour when asked to write and read the eulogy at my Grandads funeral. The third time, I was asked to write for, and read at my brothers civil wedding ceremony in the most beautiful barn setting. A couple of years later I attended eight weddings in one year! Eight! At various points I was again asked to write readings and speeches or help others with theirs. It was here that I began to realise that I relished my creative flair being part of each of these celebrations, the possibility of becoming a Celebrant surfaced and the idea of Celebrate Your Next Chapter was born! Suddenly, I was facilitating a wedding in Croatia! Celebrating another of life's chapters! I have worked in Education, Presenting, Mentoring and Coaching for a number of years and am happily engaged to Owen. We have multiple children, all of whom bring us a variety of happiness and grey hairs, I mean highlights, in equal measure! You’ve guessed it, I understand the life of a blended family. This requires a whole lot of patience and understanding as you begin to mix your families and humour is often needed as you experience the new chapters in your lives together. As a military family, I understand the life pressures this brings. The love and strength you need to be part of a couple who goes through periods of long separation, military or not. We have a love for the outdoors, rugby and cricket and a passion for listening to live music. When you find true love, where two souls mix together as one, it is like nothing else in the world! Being someone’s first love is great, being someone’s last love is perfect! – unknown Legally binding or not, all couples want to celebrate and demonstrate their commitment together and this is where the role of the Celebrant can come into its own. You don’t have to be legally married to have a Celebrant ceremony, and if you do want your wedding to be legally binding, then a private registry office appointment is all that is required before or after you celebrate with your Celebrant in style! Any venue or setting is possible, there are absolutely no limits! That is the best thing about having a Celebrant led Ceremony. Pretty much your dream can come true! I have created and delivered ceremonies that have been held in the hills overlooking Split, at Manor Houses, in Tithe Barns, at local hotels, pub gardens, even on the local beach! There are no restrictions and I look forward to working with you to Celebrate Your Next Chapter.
