Hi, I'm Julie
I am a Celebrant based in North Wales.
I live in Wrexham with my Husband Mike and our dogs, Dolly & Burt.
To get a feel for me as Julie, here are a few of my favourite things, dog walks, walking barefoot on the beach, cold water dipping with my crazy friends, meals around the table with my family, frosty mornings and watching the sunrise with my husband. Reading a good book, baking a cake and watching my seedlings bloom into life.
I am a romantic at heart, I really do love, love.
My friends say I am the planner and doer, I make all those talked about plans come to life.
I am patient, a great listener and I love listening to peoples stories. As your love story unfolds I can imagine in my mind how your story will look and sound and that is so exciting.
What's my ceremony style?
Every ceremony I create and deliver is as personal and unique as you are.
Without any restrictions, you can have the words, the music and the readings that will make your day so special – in the setting you’ve always wanted at the time you want.
A woodland setting, in your beautiful garden, a Handfasting ceremony or a Wine Blending ceremony, whatever it is you want, then we can make that happen.

Weddings
Your wedding day is one of the most important and memorable days of your life.
You can make it even more special by creating a day that reflects you and your love story, exactly as you want it to be told.
There really are no limits to what you can do.
You want your dog to be by your side? Then yes of course you can!
You want your sister to give you away, that is no problem at all!
You want a gin ceremony to toast each other? Let’s do it!
And of course dancing back down the aisle to your favourite tune, just do it!

My wedding package includes the following: A Ceremony Consultation either face to face or via Zoom. You need to decide if I am the right celebrant for you? Of course you do. Ceremony planning meeting – let’s meet up over tea and cake or via Zoom and we can make a start on creating your ceremony. Couple questionnaire – this is the fun bit where I really get to know how you two tick as a couple. Writing your personalised ceremony – you will have opportunity to see your script, or it can be a surprise on the day. Your choice.
Support to write your vows, to choose readings and music.
Help choosing symbolic ceremony elements such as Handfasting or Wine Blending.
Unlimited contact – I’ll be around to chat whenever you need me, I can liaise with suppliers and generally help take some stress out of planning your day.. Wedding rehearsal when possible. (An additional fee may be charged

Renewal of Vows
Are you are celebrating a landmark anniversary, or maybe you just want to remind each other of all the reasons why you fell in love with each other.
Whatever your reason is for a vow renewal, I can create a ceremony for you that will be full of romance, joy and laughter.
Vow renewals can be so special as they are a reminder of your wedding day, and also reflect on the years that have gone by since that day.
You may have family you want to include in your ceremony that weren’t there when you got married.
You might want it to be similar to the first time or totally different, how ever you want your ceremony to be it is all about reaffirming your love for each and celebrating it with those you love the most.
My Vow Renewal package includes the following:

Together, we will craft a farewell that reflects how deeply they were loved, ensuring their memory is honored with dignity, grace, and warmth.
I’m here to support you in whatever way feels most comfortable, whether that’s meeting in your home or connecting over video call.
Together, we will create a meaningful service that truly reflects your loved one’s life.
I will write the Eulogy and offer a selection of beautiful readings and poems for you to choose from.
Throughout this process, I will work closely with your funeral director to ensure everything flows smoothly, allowing you to focus on what matters most.

Julie officiated a family funeral. We’d struggled to find a celebrant that felt like the right fit and I reached out to a contact in the industry for support. She instantly recommended Julie and we’re so pleased she did! Julie’s kindness, compassion and attentiveness was hugely welcome at such a difficult time. She insisted on a face to face meeting.
