Readings, music and poetry all go a long way in personalizing the occasion, but there are so many other ways you can involve your guests and make your ceremony the rightful focus of the whole wedding celebration.

I introduce myself and give a little speech about why we are here… to celebrate love, love between you two. I explain that they are not there as spectators but rather as important people to the happy couple; As such they will have an important role throughout the rest of your lives… to help and support you in your marriage when needed, to celebrate with you at important mile stones, and so on. I inform them that at one point that I will be turning to them and asking them to commit to helping you, to being with you, by saying “Yes we do!” loud and clear in response to my question “Will you stick by these two and help them and celebrate with them?”. Where this comes in the ceremony is up to you.
The other point you get with me rather than with a registrar. I will help you make your ceremony personal for you. I will meet with you before and discuss wordings, what you really want to say, possible ritual options, crowd positioning, music, etc. You can choose to have one meeting, two, or three, before the actual ceremony. Up to you.
Although I am not a wedding organiser I will help you make it a very particular and special day in any way and anywhere!
How much?
For the ceremony, one meeting, my preparation time and availability on the phone and email – £400.
Other meetings add £100 per meeting. Skype meetings add £50. This is for an hour more or less. Travel: I only charge for the fuel used. Unless it is miles and miles and takes a day to get to you! Then we will have to agree a price between us.

That said, I do love weddings in unusual places… outdoors, on a cliff top, in front of your VW camper, in a garden, by a river, in an orchard….. Anywhere! The world is your oyster.

Why choose Joe for your funeral?
Why choose me as a celebrant instead of your local registrar?
A registrar is a bureaucrat. Very often they are not a public speaker. With me you are hiring a consummate performer, with 33 years professional experience. I will ensure your wedding is filled with the attention and depth of emotion it should be.
A good example of this is the technique I have for ‘warming up’ the assembled guests before either of the happy couple arrive. I introduce myself and give a little speech about why we are here… to celebrate love, love between you two. I explain that they are not there as spectators but rather as important people to the happy couple; As such they will have an important role throughout the rest of your lives… to help and support you in your marriage when needed, to celebrate with you at important mile stones, and so on. I inform them that at one point that I will be turning to them and asking them to commit to helping you, to being with you, by saying “Yes we do!” loud and clear in response to my question “Will you stick by these two and help them and celebrate with them?”. Where this comes in the ceremony is up to you.
The other point you get with me rather than with a registrar. I will help you make your ceremony personal for you. I will meet with you before and discuss wordings, what you really want to say, possible ritual options, crowd positioning, music, etc. You can choose to have one meeting, two, or three, before the actual ceremony. Up to you.
Although I am not a wedding organiser I will help you make it a very particular and special day in any way and anywhere!
How much?
For the ceremony, one meeting, my preparation time and availability on the phone and email – £400. Other meetings add £100 per meeting. Skype meetings add £50. This is for an hour more or less. Travel: I only charge for the fuel used. Unless it is miles and miles and takes a day to get to you! Then we will have to agree a price between us.

You dealt with the barking dog smoothly at the beginning. You gave time for translations into polish. Everyone felt involved. That was so important to us.

What a character and what a ball we had
We would recommend Joe really highly. Not only is he a lovely guy, he is talented and great fun. Nothing was too much trouble for Joe and he made our special day even more special than we could have imagined.
