Hi, I'm Catríona
My name is Catríona Cullen and I am a Naming, Commitment, Elopement, Affirmation and Acceptance, Occasion and Wedding Celebrant and Solemniser based in Bray, Co Wicklow.
I love Celebration and connecting with people, sharing stories and adding to the layers of family and community all around us.
For me, it’s a joy to weave individual and couple’s stories with the age-old custom of celebration and ceremony where life events are marked and celebrated with family and friends.
I love spending time with friends and family, travel, films, theatre and reading. I am quite curious by nature and really finding solutions and new paths.
I love good coffee and trying out new vegetarian and vegan food places to eat in!
I am available to work in the Leinster area mainly but am happy to travel and I have availability for dates in 2024, and 2025.
What's my ceremony style?
My style is pretty relaxed and calm!
I love the excitement in the build up to the ceremony, almost as if the space is being cleared for the ceremony to take place!
I love to take a walk and have some quiet time before a ceremony, honouring the coming space for the individual or couple on the day.
I know it can be an emotional time and I’ll definitely be feeling some of that emotion and energy too!

What do I offer?
Weddings
I love meeting a couple and hearing their story and what they envision as their ceremony.
I am happy to suggest, design and incorporate symbolic or other elements as part of the ceremony, and also happy to honour the tradition and ancient rituals passed from generation to generation.
I offer couples the peace of mind of knowing they will be making their commitments to each other in the presence of their invited guests and it’s going to be a heartwarming experience for everyone on the day!

I have quite a gentle style though I can also have a wicked sense of humour and love helping people see the lighter side of things and have an enjoyable time.
Life is not perfect but shouldn’t get in the way of a good celebration!

For me, naming ceremonies are all about celebrating family and community, the joining together of elements and just accepting new members and being part of a growing family and friend base.
