Hi, I'm Gráinne
I’m Gráinne Mc Gibney, an independent Family Celebrant speciailising in personalized Ceremonies. My Ceremonies are created to reflect the couple and their personalities. During your consultation with the me, we get to know you a little better and we work together to create what you imagine to be your dream ceremony. This may involve telling your love story, including your past times into the ceremony, including family or pets or adding ceremony enhancements to the ceremony. We love thinking outside of the box and making each ceremony very unique to the couple. Whether it be you both on the Cliffs of Moher with the sea air blowing in your faces while you listen to the Wild Atlantic Ocean crash against the cliffs or in a forest amongst your family and friends declaring your vows to each other. Its all about making the day about you and for you.
What's my ceremony style?
My style is very much about getting the journey of the couple reflected into your day. The uniqueness of each couple, their loves, their ups and downs, their journey to this day. The day where you both stand together and look into each others eyes and vow to be there for each other.

Our story…we got engaged prior to Covid and planned our first wedding for NYE 2020 in Kerry which was cancelled, as was the second and the third. After this, we decided to change destination as our lives were based in Clare so we looked into the Armada and started dealing with Grainne. From the moment we spoke with her we knew she would be a big part of our day but we were set on a religious ceremony. Roll forward another few cancelled dates we decided to get married in the registry office. Still holding onto the hope of our dream wedding we decided that we would have a civil ceremony in the Armada before the celebrations and we knew Grainne was the only person we wanted by our side to help us read our vows infront of all our loved ones. Grainne went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with every single part of the impending date from the night before, the morning of, the ceremony, the reception, the afters, to our day two she was there at hand and ready to help with anything we asked. She was always so knowledgeable and understanding and she really went out of her way to get to know us as a couple as well as our families. On the day everyone spoke about how personal our ceremony was which really showcases her effort and passion. We could not recommend Grainne highly enough as a celebrant and/or wedding planner. She made our day and we have such fond memories of the Armada because of the time she put into our special day! The best celebrant
We recently got married and had Grainne as our celebrant. From the moment we first spoke to Grainne via zoom we both knew we wanted Grainne to be our celebrant. Grainne was so knowledgeable and understanding throughout the entire planning process.
On the day everyone raved about how good out ceremony was as every single detail had been personalised to us and our story so far while still managing to include all our loved ones.
Grainne was such a calming presence and we couldn’t be happier with how the ceremony turned out.
I’d highly recommend Grainne as a celebrant and if in the future we decide to have a vow renewal I can tell you now Grainne will be the first supplier I contact to book!
