As an Independent Celebrant I am not bound by specific religious or cultural traditions, I embrace all views and practices.
I am also a trained public speaker, so you can trust that I will deliver your ceremony with professionalism, poise, and warmth. So, whether you are looking for a simple ceremony or something more elaborate, I am here to help.
What's my ceremony style?
I am warm and approachable. I immerse myself fully into your story, you have my full attention during our time together and I make it my business to produce the best possible ceremony for you.
I am friendly and humorous and adept at drawing out elements that are important to people and sharing options with them to suit, whatever their background, values or beliefs.
I have strong respect for diversity and believe everyone should have the choice to be married however they wish to whomever they wish.
I respect all cultures and religious beliefs and if you want a funeral with specific cultural or religious elements I embrace this.
If you want a modern secular ceremony I have lots of ideas to help, and am also excited to hear if you have original ideas and put them into action.

If you would like to add symbolic elements to your wedding, renewal, funeral or naming ceremony these can be included.
My role is to facilitate in a way that is modelled to suit you. Whilst I am cheerful, confident, friendly, approachable and adept at running the room, I ensure the day is all about you, not me.
What do I offer?
Weddings
I love to hear love stories and journeys. A wedding day is whatever it means to each specific coupe. My favorite thing is to create a ceremony that reflects a couple in a unique way to them. As a civil celebrant I can conduct your ceremony under the starts, by the sea, in a castle, amongst the trees or anywhere else you can imagine. Absolutely anything goes, and my ceremonies are fully inclusive, which is why I love my job so much.
I give you as much time as you need in the lead up to your big day for me to capture your journey to the wedding, write and adapt the script until it is completely perfect for you and conduct a rehearsal to give you confidence that the day will run completely smoothly so that you can simply relax and enjoy when your magical day arrives.
On the day I arrive early to ensure the venue is set up to your specifications, so that when you arrive everything is perfect.
I conduct the ceremony with love and confidence, ensuring that all the guests as well as the couple are included.
If you want further services I can Emcee throughout the rest of the day, ensuring that all events during the wedding breakfast including speeches run like a dream.

Why choose Esther for your funeral?
My parents who died when I was 12. My younger siblings were not invited to their funerals as the adults of that generation at that time felt they were too young to understand. A few years later my sisters expressed to me how not attending the funerals had affected them adversely, so I planned and recreated our parents funerals at graveside for my sisters. It was such a special occasion and even as a child myself at the time, I felt and understood the importance of each family member being able to say goodbye in a way that aligned with their beliefs.
Being a funeral celebrant is an honour, and I am here to serve your family to make this sad occasion the best it can be, creating a unique ceremony to reflect your loved one whilst ensuring the best possible experience for your family and friends.

Nothing was too much trouble
Esther captured the life of my late wife Jo, taken so young at just 47.. she made her life so special and nothing was too much trouble.. she cares about what she does and the people left.. my wife deserved 5 stars and the whole team delivered, and Esther certainly made one of the saddest days of my life more bearable..
I cannot thank her and the rest of the team enough and hope to stay in touch for many years to come but for the right reasons this time.. even though a sad event brought us all together.. Thank you so much Esther x
Naming Ceremony for Jaxon
Esther was fantastic at our baby naming ceremony, she gave us a fun experience with her vibrant personality and friendliness. I would recommend her to anyone looking for this service, she was simply amazing.
