Hi, I'm Ciara
My name is Ciara and I am a creative and forward-thinking celebrant. I am from Waterford, Ireland but I am willing to travel all over the country and beyond . I am currently available for Weddings, Vow Renewals and Baby Namings. I love working with people to create individualised ceremonies tailored just for them. If you imagine it, I can script and perform it! No ceremony is too big or too small. I weave ancient traditions with brand new ideas to create the day you’ve always dreamed of. I speak English and Irish fluently and I will give French a go!
What's my ceremony style?
I bring a uniqueness to your ceremony by really getting to know you beforehand. Together we will decide on symbolism and rituals that really showcase your values and your hopes for the future. I do this through scripting every ceremony from scratch over the months before the celebration. Myself and my clients were struggling to find ceremony enhancements that suited both parties when I had a lightbulb moment. There are no rules! Let’s make one up! And so we did, and so the happy couple became trend setters much to the delight of their celebrant and their guests!

Weddings
My ideal couple are those who still want to get married after speaking with me! So all are welcome here! In with the old and in with the new I say. My favourite type of ceremony is one which is grounded in the values and beliefs of the couple both individually and as a unit. Through the use of tried and tested ceremony enhancements like sand, candles, music or handfasting entwined with my own original twists, we will craft a ceremony that is not only unique to you but also provides you with keepsakes you can bring forward with you as you journey through life together.
No ceremony is too big or too small. With a Mo Chuisle ceremony you will always be at the heart of it in every moment.
If you book me we will meet many times over Zoom or in person to discuss your ideas. I will share my expertise and ideas with you and together we will craft your ceremony. As I get to know you I will write your all important Love Story. This works as the ‘sermon’, which showcases you as a couple and your journey to this point. I perform this story to your and your guests setting a romantic and fun-filled tone for the rest of the day. I will fine-tune this Love Story to reflect your personalities and leave you with a story you will never forget. Really romantic? Well we’ll break out the doves. Mortified by the idea of gooey words? Well we’ll use a different approach. his ceremony is yours and will be brought to life in whichever style you like.

Celebrating your new arrival is an absolute must and what better way than a Naming Ceremony. Bring together your nearest and dearest and I will help you welcome your little one to the world with a mix of guest participation, symbolism and ancient ritual you are sure to remember forever.
As a Primary School teacher I have many tricks up my sleeve to involve the whole family in this special day. Together we will provide special moments to symbolise the welcoming of your newest family member through music, arts and crafts and anything else that reflects you as a family. All ideas are welcomed and no idea is too big or too small.

The right celebrant for us
Ciara was absolutely amazing and I’m so glad we chose her as our celebrant, she was so very accommodating, especially when we had to change the dates a few times! She was so patient with us and a great addition to our day, she was wonderful in guiding and advising us and also including our little girl in the wedding. It was a fabulous ceremony and I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married. 😊

The Best Day!
